I will divert myself to others things like reading books and i'll eventually forgot what I'm angry about but sometimes i'll just cry mysef out and I'm not angry anymore.
Yes diverting the anger from what you used to do. It is really working for me. When i get angry i try'na sing the high notes.

i always hold on to one principle : move away from the trigger, go take a time off, reflect over what happens and give yourself enough time to make decisions, or else you might regret the immediate decision you'll make at your anger moment

The first thing you do is to stay away from the person, place or anything that has triggered your anger. Don't think about it and do the things that you need to do in that day and it will make you forget your anger easily.

think one of the best strategies is to write down EXACTLY what is stressing you out and why. I find that I feel out of control when I have a million different thoughts going on in my head, but when I take the time to write them down, they somehow seem much more manageable and concrete.

I shout in the place I was alone. Voicing out very loud is a good way to calm down your anger. Instead of keeping it on yourself.

Take a nap. Fifteen minutes is fine. Refrain from the cause of your anger. Most importantly, pray and ask for God's help to change your heart and your mind.
