Make a rollback to bitmain firmware and reset your D3. Then check your chains and install Blissz.

Try to switch the chain cables on logicboard 0 to 1, 1 to 2, 2 to 0.
You can test port 3 too.

Could have sworn it does four...If someone had an extra hashborad would it not be possible to plug and play it?

Hey I meant no disrespect. I only have couple d3s so really not a huge difference. If you have a farm of these its definitely worth it. I was wondering if there is a possibility of adding some sort of a dongle in order to add the difference between x11 and x13? Otherwise I suggest we boycot Bitmains every product thats coming out because lets face it. Sometimes they don't deliver on the promise. Its not a good way for a global company a leader in the field. I say unacceptable. They should offer us  a discount. A trade in, A solution. An upgrade. lol "new mythical x13 algo ability". What I am saying. They dumped this on the rest of the planet and it really is unfair. We should indeed start to question their integrity as well as values and vision and mission. What I am saying is that there are lover and haters. those with d3s currently seem to be hating. But hey its almost 2018. I mean talk about dash. 2mb block size. Instant transfers. I am not sure about the fees... for instant transfer of 1000$ lets say I wanna pay at walmart for a new  tv.  I mean bitcoin, yes. Pioneer. Future? ....maybe maybe not. I can only speculate. But hovering around 100 mill diff is not very awesome right now. Boycott Bitmain campain. we should put in a suggestion for funding any one down? Sorry i know its a negative publicity. Some say negative publicity can be good. But not this time. We do not need much funds to make sure the messages gets all the way to the chinese servers and i am sure there it will rest lol. Likely never reaching the chinese "clear net" lol. Wtf do they think they are, here. Bitmain. Bit yes, Main i am not so sure about it. There are so many resolutions to these issues. I mean they could help.  How about taking their d3s off line so they can let us recover.... It really ain't fair. How long would i take to recover 1450$ if the bitmain fuckers shut off their d3s mining farms? Likely not too too long. Is there a way someone can write a jammer and send it to them in an email to kill all their asic hashboards lol hehe. Shit we are tweaking and tweaking but when it comes down to it. It effing blows right now.

The Baikal Miner X10 for example, started with X11/Quark/Qubit Algorythm
Since Release they also added Myriad-Groestl and Skein and they announcend that 2 more will come soon.
For the fact, that they used an ASIC Chip which is "only" designed for X11/Quark/Qubit, they added much more Algos.

I dont think that's impossible to add more algos to the D3, but if Bitmain will do that....
Baikal uses FPGAs, not ASICS. The "P" in FPGA stands for "programmable"...

really? oh damn im sorry for beeing that blind  Lips sealed

Sorry, just again bringing up the profit switching capabilities that are out there. This is from AwesomeMiner.

External Profit Switching (for ASIC's and Antminers)
Awesome Miner will not add or change any pools on the miner. The profit switcher will only look at the pools already defined on the miner and change the priority of them. The priority is set based on profitability. The profitability of the pool must be known to Awesome Miner, either by using one of the supported multi-pools or by using a coin listed on the Coins tab.

I know this is what's quoted on the awesomeminer site but you can create your own pool groups and then assign that group to a external miner and set that up for profit switching. You just need to create a new profit switching profile. I currently have 8 pools assigned to my D3's through awesomeminer and it auto profit switches between 7 of them without any issues, prohashing is the only pool that isn't picked up by the profit switching profile. The only deal is when you reboot an external miner you have to add the pool group back to that miner once it's back online.

You can meke it easier.
Using awesomeminer tool bar, you can define deafult pools through api.
Select asic, enter login and pass for api access choose a defult pool as a pool group, the restart your miner and you will have your 8 pools even if asic reboots.

Thanks. I knew there had to be a way.

But profit switching will only work for coins available on WTM right? I don't mine coins on WTM.

If I have a miner that's a bit unstable on the minimum voltage, of course I decrease the frequency. I'm wondering, should I also try increasing the voltage for more stability?

Hey,

Sorry if this has been covered previously, but has any one had an issue getting the firmware to load?

I tried multiple times today from various browsers.
I tried both the Antminer-D3-20171210_0-blissz.tar.gz & Antminer-D3-v2.04-20171222_0_beta-blissz.tar.gz
It starts the upload, does a reboot, goes offline, comes back up, but it is always the stock firmware.

I have the latest batch of D3, the 19.whatever.  I have it turned down to 419 on the frequency, and the fan down for the noise. I'm fine with the 15GH/s, but would like to be able to adjust voltages.

Any advice would be appreciated, if anyone has had this issue before.

Thanks,
@bigrobatx

v1.12 :: 10/12 :: RECOMMENDED UPDATE

Download:
https://mega.nz/#!ylJX0LCQ!8JWryI0jDhgMvPdH2mrOvybkXCtrpYtQpxu0akdxU1s

Upgrade instructions:
  • Recommended, at your current firmware, set the miner frequency at 400mhz and set your fan speed manual at 25% before flashing.
  • Download the custom firmware. (don't unpack it)
  • Flash by going to "System" -> "Upgrade" -> "Flash new firmware image" and select the custom firmware.
  • After flashing, check the advanced settings page and start at the lowest voltage setting and 400mhz. From there increase your frequency to see how high you can go at the lowest voltage setting.
  • Start tweaking some more. See the profile suggestions below.

Changes 10/12:
- Improved awesome miner / other mining managers compatibility (setting the priority was not working)
- fix kernel log window height (saves you double scrolling...)
- added permanent antbleed fix (prevent remote control of your miner by bitmain Roll Eyes) -> for details see http://www.antbleed.com/

thank in advance to blissz to help D3 community for this firmware..
will trying 1 D3 first.. to find the right setting for my D3.. and willl setting all my D3 if good to to with this firmware

Hey Everyone!

Big thanks to blissz!!!

I have been lurking the last couple of weeks and finally took the plunge this weekend to upgrade my d3's this weekend with the v2.04 beta :: 22/12 :: test version - both machines seemed to be running great. And sometime over the course of the night I could hear what sounded like the d3's power cycling every couple of minutes... after checking on the machines I see on the miner status page that everything is blank? I have reset, reflashed stock firmware & reset, etc... Each time i get the same result - nothing in miner status page and I cant see the miners connecting to any pools.

What went wrong & What should I being doing next to get them running again?

The original firmware (Never updated)  works perfectly and stable with 500 mhz and 18 gh

there is not even one hw error during 48 hours operation.

Why do you guys trying to change such a stable firmware , I cant  understand really

 https://ibb.co/f803AR

you can make image and share it? because in last days i got to much HW with blissz and stock firmaware update. i want back the first version. plz.
