What I fear about bitcoin is not about scam or anything, I don't gamble really. I'm just afraid that BTC will not increase it's value in the meantime or will deflate this year. I am more motivated this year about earning, so when BTC deflates i will lose my focus and motivation. That will be most likely opening my bitcoin account once a week if I lose some reasons to be here.

As a bitcoin holder, my current fear is that bitcoin will be banned in my country and they won't allow any transactions to be made. Another fear that I have and almost all of the bitcoin holders have is that bitcoin becomes a bubble and burst until the price become zero. Many speculations says that bitcoin is a bubble and it will go down soon. I just hope that it's not true.

My greatest fear as a bitcoin holder is the hacking because I cannot do anything about it and I am not that tech savvy to save the coins or take it back. The second fear I have is the bitcoin bubble burst abruptly and not be able to get the Return Of Investment of it. Well, these are risks of investing in this kind of business.

The big fear for me is the bitcoin price fall because the greatest ear is the digital nature of the currency like bitcoin. The modern techniques were applied to make it possible to buy at low price and sold at higher prices in the current market. That's why people are shifting from bitcoin to other currencies but it is not the fact may we are not saying and thing the fact may be the results come opposite of our thinking.

My greatest fear as a bitcoin holder is the banning of bitcoin in our country because it is difficult to hold a bitcoin when bitcoin is banned in your country.

Over excessive regulation. Now that Wall St is getting involved. This is the greatest threat we currently face.

My greatest two fears about bitcoin is banning in my country and hacking while some portion of my brain is also facing the fear of heavy money loss due to continuous lowering of bitcoin rates.

Greatest fear of holding bitcoins for now is that it will be illegally ban by my country or having it been regulated to have a tax. It will be hard to have transactions if that might happen, as it will takes a week before it will be processed. Banks on my country, hold or make a process if they know such earnings or money comes from any related crypto transactions. So for now, aside from being hacked, my greatest fear is that our government controls it as they see high potentials and demands of bitcoin nowadays.

I think a bitcoin boss is most afraid that its price will drop sharply. Not so, a bitcoin boss is very afraid of hackers. Bitcoin is digital money, it is stored on electronic wallets, hackers can steal it.

Personally, my greatest concern at this moment would be a sudden price collapse, given the rapid increase last year, which was something very exciting at the time, but at the same time a little worrying, as it could fall at the same rate as the rise.

Guys! If you are afraid to lose your bitcoins that means you have invested too much in it. So please do yourself a big favor and get yourself comfortable. Life is great to live in fear. IMHO

My greatest fear as a Bitcoin holder is when the time comes that Bitcoin's price and value will decrease and drop at its value. It will be alarming. Also, if I didn't get the return of what I invest here. You see, bitcoin is indeed risky and we can't tell what will happen.
We are all at the same page when it comes to our fear in having a bitcoin, especially nowadays wherein bitcoin is at stable price and is not increasing yet even for a $16k, hope it will rise this month so we will complacent with our investment here and can withdraw it anytime we want. Probably we all have the same fear, when we wake up tomorrow and see that crypto currency market is crashed and we lost everything we made up till now. it is really scary thought.

I know this is unlikely but the governments coming together and banning bitcoin worldwide, I mean the value would surely plummet if this happened no? That is my greatest fear with bitcoin as of now.

i suppose my fear should be, Crytocurrencies crashing and investments gone in the wind, but how is that going to happen. Crypto currency is the future and BTC is at the vanguard of it. I don't have any fear about BTC

No fear at all , since I almsot don't have any bitcoin. But if I had one , probably I would be upset if bitcoin would get centralized by the government at some point.

As far as I read, everybody seems to have same thoughts including me. I actually divide my investing portfolio in cryptos, stock exchange and forex. So even if cryptos crashed I might still have something in forex and stocks.

The time when bitcoin suddenly disappears is the greatest fear I will have because it is hard to find another way to invest your money as easy as how you can on Bitcoin.

There is really nothing to fear about cryptocurrency because as you have said it, it is the future. Government will eventually adopt the blockchain technology and may even use another kind of cryptocurrency other than bitcoin but the whole idea is the same. Look at kodak they will be launching their own cryptocurrency soon - just proves how worthy crypto is in the future.
