To Request Additional Language Translations: Email: founder@roi-coin.com

Lastly, if you speak these languages feel free to share them with others who speak the translated language. Our goal is mass adoption and by that we mean global all inclusive everyone is welcome.

the Vietnamese translation link isn't working by the way. you may want to check that out Wink

Argh paid bounty on that and posted it myself. It's been working because we've had replies on it that I responded to. Not sure why it would just up and disappear like that? Any suggestions?
perhaps a moderator deleted it ? you didn't get any notification ?

I think it was checked self-moderated. But it was there it got replies and I replied to those. Now it's just totally gone with no notice. I won't be doing bounty or posting any additional languages if this is going to be happening. It's not cool at all it just wastes money and time for nothing. I don't understand what on earth happened.
you can always repost it Wink

I'm not sure about re-posting it when I don't know why it was deleted  Undecided I had the translation done by a native speaker in NY and then I had my good friend who lives here in town review it and he is full blood native speaking Vietnamese  Tongue

Addnode IP current list

Hello Team,

For those mining with 3rd party mining software, requiring Addnode=...   Below is an updated current known listing.

139.59.245.141
178.62.35.212
139.59.32.75
138.197.172.223
165.227.10.125
159.203.91.200
85.143.174.214
194.67.193.64

It is possible that others have setup Nodes without advertising, which is GREAT!  It further strengthens the network, improves security, and helps other miners near by, if using the QT wallet to mine.

DNS seeders have now been installed on all 5 hardcoded seed nodes...  This should improve (QT Wallet mining) finding closer connections, reducing latency, and improving chances of getting a block solved and returned in time to get the block reward.  At last check, we have 1853 unique IPs connected to the network.

** Should you wish to add a Node, please copy the above list of IPs and paste it into your post.  This will make it easier for people to find the latest updated list.  Thank you.

I have been so busy with other things.  Washing cats, mowing the yard and what not...  Have not had the chance to play with the 3rd party miners.

Is anyone having any luck with Hodlminer-Optiminer with Xeon 12-Core 2.40GHz E56XX processors?  I am getting about 300-350 H/s per box with the wallet.  Just curious if they could have been pushed harder.

As the net has grown so strong, I will be pulling mining boxes off.  They were used to get the network going and try to keep from a 51% attack at the early stage.  As large as our net is, I think there is little risk of that.  Only fair, I do not mine further.  Though the wallets will remain online.

As we close on our first full week...  I can not begin to tell you all how humbled and grateful we are to you all.  Thank you for a great week!

Community Note:

I had to go though every tread since page 1 and delete any post that showed a wallet address. Bitcointalk does not want any wallet addresses in posts. This even includes a screenshot of a wallet or mining pool that displays addresses.

Please be careful to not make any post that has a wallet address in it whether typed text or within an image.

Thanks a bunch!

If you do post anything that gets noticed don't get upset when it gets deleted. We don't want any trouble here and for sure we don't want this tread getting locked by the mods Cheesy

PS The Vietnamese ANN translation is fixed now Cheesy

Has there been any discussion/update on the internal pool and on trying to limit miners using Nicehash/ other hashbuying services?

I have been thinking and Magi coin put a cap on there main pool and some of the other pools do the same. Maybe ROI should do the same and cap the hash to 2kh on the main pool.

Banning anyone who puts more than 2.2kh on the network (+200 to give way to server sag). And any of the coins made from the ban could be given out for bountys.

This would give the users of the coin with low hash somewher they can mine and get a better % of the coin.

I see no difference at doing so... If the big miners cannot mine in pool, then big miners will mine it solo. Then big miners will mine almost 90% (for example) of total blocks and leave 10% mined only at pool. Of course mining at pool will be distributed with good share, but found a block maybe in one hour...

So, there is no difference at all either more blocks found with less rewards, or less blocks found with more rewards.

BTW, you can see who found most blocks at http://coinspool.cu.cc/blocks_roicoin, then you will know who bring the block reward to pool.

We need more discussion on this. Those who pay for big hash to mine a lot of coins might be hated by solo miners with lower Hash but really are we sure they are the enemy? Truth is if they pay big money to get big hash and mine the coin they are deeply vested in the coin. This means they believe the coin will be worth good value and they can get the investment back. Also, if they pay big money for big hash I don't think they will be dumping coins on the exchange way below the sell wall.

The way I see it right now our biggest issue that is a problem is people are dumping coins on the exchange way way below the normal sell wall. Those people are dropping the coin value and really I don't understand why they want to sell their coins cheap because really they are just losing money.

Hi,

in my opinion perhaps something is wrong with automatic difficulty for blockfinding.

We have a blocktime of 2 minutes. So round about 720 blocks must be found each day. Also term deposit belongs on finding +/- 720 blocks per day.

At the moment only >600 blocks are found last days. So all term deposits will run longer as expected:

Block 2930 10th Nov 2017 11:15:49
Block 3505 11th Nov 2017 11:06:35 -> 575
Block 4072 12th Nov 2017 11:09:49 -> 567

For me this is no problem. But when other people make term deposit for 12 month and then coins are blocked for 14-15 month they are confused perhaps.

Perhaps someone with technical background can check this.

Thanks a lot

The MIDAS algo is impacting the block timing. This is necessary for the security of the ROI blockchain. As network hashing reaches a point and stabilizes the timing will return to the target of 2 min. This isn't a permanent issue.

What is the CPU's your running?

You might gain some hashing by adding the -optimineraes flag
