@TheRaster

I've been trying to get the miner running on one of my little servers in the last few days. It does not matter if I start it with -t 8 or -t 28 and it only uses one CPU and also the memory gets max 1 GB. I think you could use this much better.

@Bitnode: I have never heard more funny statements, "1 Miner = 61.78 KH ROIcoin Oo" make a better coin .......

@CjMapope: There are also people who have at home 1 or 2 servers for video and they are not bot's either.

Anyone can easily get their 1 or 2 or 3 computers working at home.

@AngryWhiteWolf pool is running my 2 ps are on ...

Yes thats how it is...

I have a DL 580 on it. 4 cpus. The miners are not the best when it comes to using the cpus. It will only run on 2. So I run 2 instances of the miner. Then it runs on the other 2 cpus.

Each instance will only use 1gb of ram. So run 2 instances (run the bat twice) and it will use 2gb ram and should fill in to the other cpu on the 2nd instance. so you should config your .bat to "-t 16" and run the bat twice. That will give you 2 instances and use 2gb ram.

If you run it a 2nd time and you dont see other cpu fill then close and run again.

How is the cluster mining going?

Can anyone provide their results.

Am still mining on the pool and not completely convinced to make the shift just yet.

Let us all know how it is panning out for you in terms of earnings  Smiley

Well there is your problem... Still connected to the pool helping the NH.

I am working on a pool with someone but it is proving to be a pain in the ass. We know we are close. The only problem we have is shares are to low. But we will get there.

I'm still mining with my 7700k's  found 2 blocks 7 hours ago but now nothing...

There is nothing like the smell of burning CPU's in the air. I would leave them running!

I am actually doing good mining blocks with less CPU than you!

Maybe I should turn the threads down to 2 to be safe, it keeps losing connection now and then is that normal..?

Nope it's not normal at all. Where are you located and how many connections does your wallet report? You may want to limit max connections if it's overloading your internal LAN

Coins pool is down to 316 blocks pending....

This tells me that solo miners are stealing back blocks  Grin

I think that pool was offline for a while and that may have contributed to what you see. Pretty soon your pool will be up and ready...

It won't be long... http://minersunite.net/

ROI will then have 2 pools and the cluster as well!

I guess I am confused?

I see people selling and dumping ROI Coin at a little over 100 satoshi and then I turn right around and see buyers at above 300 satoshi...

Do people just like to sell low and lose 300% ROI? wow I just don't get it...

Isn't that always the case?

People dumping the coin just want a quick buck. So instead of listing their sell order and waiting for a buyer, they take the highest buy order and sell it at that price. Then there are those like me who have assigned a value to the coin and are willing to pay up to a certain price for it. In that instance, when we see orders listing it below our max, we will just snap it up.

Hence the huge discrepancy. It's actually worse on TradeSatoshi since they have faucets for most of their listed coins and people just mass collect and dump for whatever they can get.

Very intelligent observation! You know I just don't understand it.... these people lose a ton of money doing this wow... I can't judge it I know but I just want to think it doesn't make sense to go fast and lose money when you can be more patient and double or triple your profit  Huh

Wouldn't a high ROI on deposits cause inflation on coin price if the market don't think the coin value is rising faster than the deposit rewards? It is like the stock market. When a company have high revenue without having a business that actually increase the value of the company at least as much as the revenue then the stock market will dump the price and you will still loose money despite of high revenue.

I am not saying this is going to happen with ROI coin but I am afraid that it could happen if the rewards of deposits are too high.
Maybe it does not matter if you get income from increasing price or from deposit rewards?
But hundreds % ROI is probably not what should be expected in the long run and if that is case the price will drop.
You may still earn some money from the rewards but it is somewhat eaten by the price drops.

It is like if a country is thinking they will be richer if they start printing more dollar bills.
You just get high inflation. The value of each dollar drops because you get too many of them.

Or am I wrong with these assumptions?
