It looks like you're able to detect the illegal tithes, but the PoG difficulty is counting donations whether they are qualified PoG Tithes or not. I see why PoG difficulty is so high now. So, if someone wanted to donate 75k BBP out of the goodness of their heart, none of us could PoG tithe for that day?

If I understand everything correctly, this would affect only next 6 hours to difficulty and would make next payments smaller than tithes.

That makes sense because difficulty only looks 50 blocks back (205 blocks a "day"... ~6 hours).

Payment would be less than tithes because overall pool payout exceeds donations? If the tithe is "illegal" for PoG, wouldn't it be excluded from the daily PoG payout calculation?

Illegal tithes don't get inducted into the pool.

So pool payouts are only based on legal tithe share weight %s.

i guess i will be paid only for this amount, so ~2000 bbp

We will make an enhancement soon that will free the transactions that were rejected immediately (so that people do not have to restart the wallet to free those tx).

On the rest of this, please wait til we have 80% upgraded to 1193+.  This is because we really need to see the pogpool behaving correctly before I explain how to run the command that shows your total in/vs tithed (doing it now will just confuse everyone, as we have a lot of tithes on the old versions).

Things look like they are starting to normalize.  The last mandatory upgrade (1189) prevented illegal tithes from entering the pool in a hard way, but we still had a lingering high POG difficulty.

The latest two versions helped fix most of the remaining (leisure level bugs) and the difficulty is dropping now.

To make this fair for everyone, I just sent out the spork that lowers the default tithe frequency to 20 minutes.  This means if you use the automatic tithe setting, the miner will try to tithe every 20 minutes (only if you have coins meeting the difficulty level).

As soon as possible, I will look at the github ticket that tries to protect the oldest coins (and prefers the newest coins for tithing).

The fix that prevents the '0/unconfirmed' orphan tithe in the wallet (the bug that requires a restart after sending an illegal tithe to recoup the funds) has been programmed and we will hold this until the next feature is ready.

I believe (knock-on-wood) we fixed all remaining pog complaints in the next leisure version.

Orphaned transactions in the UI are prevented by checking the current network conditions before tithing.
The youngest coins are chosen when tithing.

As far as auditing your personal tithing record and ensuring all tithes were inducted, we added a new report called 'exec mypogaudit'.
This will show you all the tithes you made over the last 205 blocks and if they were legal or illegal with totals.

Technically, this incidence (of tithes not entering the pool and costing you money) should drop to 0 after the network is upgraded, but now you can use this report to audit each day.
You can also specify a block number if you miss a few days.

- When tithing from the rpc 'tithe' command, or from the UI send coins page, choose the youngest coin for the difficulty level
- Add best coin age and amount to 'titheinfo'
- In the rpc tithe and in the UI send coins page tithe action, check the tithe conditions first and cancel the transaction gracefully and notify the user (this prevents the orphaned transactions in the transaction list)
- Add ability to remove swear words from peoples nicknames at the spork level
- Modify GetGithubVersion to compare to the last Mandatory release (preventing false upgrade notifications in prod)
- In the miner, verify the tithe will meet the tithe conditions before tithing, and use the youngest coin
- Add 'exec mypogaudit' rpc report.  This report shows the tithes you
made in the last 205 blocks, and the status and corresponding error
code, and the sum of the legal vs illegal tithes and counts.  Optionally
you may enter a starting block number (and the report will descend from
that block).
