what kind(s) of mining will be in evo? also some guides how to switch to evo (if something else than wallet upgrade) will be great For the first 400 blocks or so, it is very similar to biblepay-classic (POBH), with ABN (anti-bot-net prevention) turned off (so no one will need coin-age at first). The primary difference right off the bat, is around 200-400 blocks in (depending on how quickly our sanc quorum forms), when the GSC height is reached, half of the rewards will start diverting over to GSC contracts (meaning people in the POG campaign will receive about 1 mil per day across the project). Let me post instructions on creating a CPK (Christian public key) and how to join the POG campaign (these two things are very easy to do, just two commands). Around block 125,000 POBH changes; after our network enables ABN and Anti-GPU: When these two features enable, then we require coin*age to POBH mine a block (So POBH will be harder for those either in a bot-net or without BBP). The Anti-GPU feature makes it even harder to attempt to run BBP on a GPU.

I think during the first month or so, while we get a feel for ABN, we will probably try about 256K coin age in prod, so that means you would need to send 256,000 bbp out to the mining machines in order for them to create a block. The BBP would need to age for 24 hours before you accrue 256K coin age. Once one of those machines finds a block it would lose its coin age again and start the cycle over. Note that on the controller wallet, all locked sanc funds dont count, so you would need to leave 256K of a free balance there.

I used the arm BBP version, i alreay to started the biblepayd that i found the new problem is watchdog tool, it is because the watchdog config still under old file path ~/.biblepaycore. Any EVO new watchman Version update? Watchman-on-the-wall is built in the new Evo version and pre-configured to run automatically, so you can delete watchman-classic after block 123,001. Cheers! Yes, watchman built in the new evo version but at this moment , i cannot enable the masternode before 123,001 if i used the new evo version? Please see this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2388064.msg51111202#msg51111202Users are not supposed to upgrade Sancs or controllers to Evo until after block 123,001 passes. Rob, 122632 blocks now, Can i go to setup the EVO version until 123,001 that to start? if yes , i will go to upgrade now.

my guess is that you need 256k bpp days so 256k stacker for 1 day, or 128k stacked for 2 days, or 512k stacked half day...

Mostly yes, 256k per mining machine, to heat mine with POBH, but you can use the 256K over and over - after you solve a block, the coin age resets and starts aging again. That's just on the POBH side. Remember that once GSCs/POG start, 1 mil per day is awarded to the POG campaign (thats about half of the daily budget), so we have equal chance for rewards that are not based on heat mining.

We're just notifying Sancs to not upgrade until after block 123,000 as we really need this superblock to process correctly for our orphan expenses. I'll be posting info on the wiki guides, the linux compile, the download links, and the timing today.

This environment is different than the stacks, primarily because POG is now a server side campaign, so the Sanctuaries who assess the POG points per user do this in a very similar fashion to how PODC operated - they sum the points once per day and create a smart contract. So this means you don't need 'stacks' of coins in POG anymore - since the biblepay miner will consolidate the coins once every 12 hours into a GSC transmission for POG - this is a transmission that proves how much free biblepay you are allocating to POG. Another words, if you have 20 free unspent coins with a total coin age of 1 mil, this twice per day (or once depending on network settings) will consolidate those free coins and send out ONE GSC transmission - all at once, and this will all be sent back to you (you only pay the network fee). This allows the sancs to assess the total POG points and Healing points (Healing is the 2nd campaign, but it is only 5% of the GSC budget). Once the points are agreed upon in the daily consensus, the sancs emit the daily GSC contract which results in a superblock payment to everyone at the same time. Then, all those coins lose the coin age and start over for the next days POG. (So it is of no advantage to force the miner to re-send multiple GSCs per day manually as that would be futile, as the coin age would be miniscule per transmission).

** Real Life Utility for BiblePay is Live Today **
We already have 3 real-world use cases for BiblePay and we are just getting started: - Kairos children's fund now accepts BBP. You can sponsor a real child at home through Kairos. I will be sponsoring some personal children through Pastor Andrew very soon and testing this use case out. You also get a real tax deduction because the expense is tax deductible when done at a personal level.
- Cameroon One accepts BBP.
- You can buy a Subway gift card at https://pool.biblepay.org.
In the future, we will also have a revenue stream for BBP when we lease out document space (using our variant of IPFS). And finally, I believe we will eventually partner with a debit card provider so people can spend BBP like a credit card.

*** Upgrade to Evolution ***
Unfortunately we are not smoothly transitioning over our mandatory cutover of block 123,000.
We wanted the sanctuaries to wait until after this block to upgrade, but unfortunately approx. 15 upgraded earlier, which was enough to create a governance quorum in Evo. Additionally I wanted the miners on Evo to upgrade early, but it appears 100% of our miners are still mining on 1.2.0.1.
At this time let's all upgrade to Evo. We want the Evo chain to have the most work, and have all the mining power - effective now.
Also, all Sancs, please upgrade to Evo now.

i switched at least 10 miners to evo yesterday, so it should not be 100% on 1.2.0.1
some of them going above 123000, some are stucked at 122999 some are 'mining' something, cpu usage is somewhere 100% somewhere ~0% but it shows hps (but lower) one is complaining about abn too low one complaining: error: Could not locate RPC credentials. No authentication cookie could be found, and no rpcpassword is set in the configuration file (/home/capo/.biblepayevolution/biblepay.conf)

In my case I also upgraded miners yesterday.
MNs were ok but controller wallet was stuck at 122999 like capulo's. I resynced and now it's ok
biblepay-cli getblockhash 123010 ad6f362c94ff32ebd0875a1686529fb21e5bbb15ab5afc93c8af7310b32bdcc3
capulo, for
error: Could not locate RPC credentials...
Shut down biblepayd, check that you have latest version (not 1.2.0.1), then launch again. I detected that some 1.2.0.1 daemons are not shutting down in a timely manner, so they don't allow new 1.4.3.1 to start. In extreme case you may need a sudo kill -9 PID

How is the network status right now? I just looked into my desktop wallet, and it shows only connections to 1.2.0.1 clients with my 1.4.3.1 wallet. All newer wallets have problems, most of them are stuck at 122999 and my clients kills these connections. I have the same block hash: getblockhash 123010 ad6f362c94ff32ebd0875a1686529fb21e5bbb15ab5afc93c8af7310b32bdcc3 P.S.: By the way: Purepool is in maintenance right now, until all is working fine again
