Guys, we really need to get on a bigger exchange... Cryptsy is really too slow and has not enough buy power for Megacoin. But their is interest for it, and we have some advantages, maybe a MEC whale should do something for us to get more exposure. Just saying.

first time I used the sexy wallet, been using exhcnage wallet up t now
just deposited 100 mec in my walet and got a surprise when it landed (in record time, unlike dinosaur bitcoin) and my speakers were on full and I heard the noise like a 2pence been dropped on the side until it rattles to a halt lol

if i want to save wallet, do i click file, then export? then save the wallet.dat into file on thumbdrive

then if wanting to pop back in due to a tech fault down the line, click back up and import it?

A simple copy paste of the wallet.dat works ( In the megacoin folder), the location of this folder depends on your Operating system you can easily find this info on google.
Import/export should work too i guess!

yep, just for anyone else wanting to backup wallet, its not export, that does nothing when clicked

its, hover over file, click,backup wallet, then save .dat file as wallet
then save to thumb etc

What did you have in mind? I believe there will be a social media campaign soon with some advertising. 
I sent a message to oiwastedmylif but didn't want to open discussion here yet as it's still a tad early. But here is the gist of my message if anyone is willing to get started on this;

I'm starting to rent out ad spaces around the net and trialing banners, but noticed all of our logos are fit for wallets/website but no proper resolution ads.

Let me know if you can help, we'd need at least 1 600x90 and a 300x250 pixel ad and probably more to come as we go down the line (300x600, 336x280 etc)..

I haven't opened up discussion with the forum as this is a trial run and I can bank roll a few dozen ads without input at this stage.

I was thinking something like this for the 600x90;

(the one vtr99 did in paint)

and maybe just one of the coin designs with proper resolution for the 350x200.

Let me know what you think and if we want to open up compensation for this..

Don't underestimate text ads though. Banners don't always give better results.
