Was the cryptopia wallet even syncing? Quite a few coins there were "in maintenance".

If CAP needs to re-list on CMC as a new coin then it might be difficult as they now require a lot more then they did in the past. For starters CAP needs to be listed on two exchanges that are listed on CMC which we currently don't have and to list on two exchanges is going to cost a fair bit depending on which exchanges, even the cheapest exchanges we are looking at 0.5 to 1 btc.

It might be easier to try selecting these options on the request form instead.

I agree as the owner is a great guy and I'm sure we won't have any problems getting Bottle caps listed on there as like you said there are many similar coins listed on there. From what I have heard is that its one of the dev that used to work on 1337 coin, now Elite coin so I think it will be a good exchange to list on.

Maybe try deleting peers.dat and add these ips to your config. My wallet is connected to them and syncing fine
