Hi, how are you? I do not understand, what's happening with bottlecaps? I have coins in cryptopia and in my personal wallet but I can not send them to tradesatoshi of either of them.
I see that tradesatoshi changed the logo but the two logos are still there. they also changed the name to the currency to capital coin.
so, what can we do now? Who takes charge? Are you going to change the bottlecaps by capital coin automatically or do you have to make the claim? Does anyone know something?

Ray I suggest you go back and start reading from about topic page 179.  Back in Nov Cyptopia got Hacked and CAP coins were stolen.  In short some of the folks here are working with Cryptopia to restore the hacked coins and hopefully keep CAP listed on Cryptopia but no promises yet.  Once your caught up you will have a better idea where this coin is at.  The only thing you can do right now is upgrade your local wallet to 2.3.0 and move coins off cryptopia to your personal wallet as cryptopia has upgraded theirs to 2.3.0 but that will not do you much good becuase no other exchange that I have heard of is on 2.3.0.

Hope that helps

You did not answer me what I asked. You told me what we all know. Thank you as well.

I see that tradesatoshi changed the logo, but the two logos are still there. they also changed the name to the currency, now it is called capital coin.
Are they going to change the bottle caps by capital currency automatically? or should the claim be made? Does anyone know something?

Not sure what's going on with TradeSatoshi, but it looks like they have both CAPo (Bottlecaps) and CAP (Capital) listed. Bottlecaps is under maintenance.

So right now, it seems that there are no exchanges that accept Bottlecaps deposits?

bottlecap was never CAPo it was always CAP. everyone knows that.

Administrative response of Tradesatoshi:
Sender: ModDonnie Created: 3/28/2018 2:57:00 AM
Dear user:

What do you mean with bottle caps? Is this the CAP currency you mention?
The CAP currency that appears on this site is not a bottle, it is a "Capital" currency.
Kindly check the status and information of the currency before making the transaction.

They are washing their hands.
That means that the bottle caps of coins will not come back. they stole our money

Sometimes you try to help fellow coin owners and all you get is a SNOT response.  Best to leave them, to go get the information ON THEIR OWN.

I agree that Bottlecaps was always CAP, but it looks like TradeSatoshi is labeling it as CAPo and using the CAP ticker for Capital coin, which is confusing.

I have unfortunately seen CAP used for this new Capital coin on at least one other exchange. I had thought that new coin devs would at least do a quick Google search to make sure their ticker wasn't already taken.

Either way it looks like Cryptopia is our only exchange right now, and even they are under maintenance with CAP. Too bad, but I can wait.

I don't think new devs think about it.  BTG has been BitGem for several years, but could the Bitcoin Gold devs be bothered?

looks like altcoinwarz explorer is ready to use except latest tx list (maybe smth else) is stuck.

same goes to http://cap.explorerz.top:3001/
but i doubt you need 2 explorers on slow iquidus

Great work!  I wonder what happens now when Cryptopia sees this.  Isn't there another exchange that would be happy to pick up this coin and get some of the trading fees?    I trade on Cryptopia everyday and want them to continue to succeed and be stable, but I don't see why the coin can't also have a new start somewhere.  Granted, that can be problematic if the new exchange does an exit scam or is sloppy and lazy.

I can't find a place to mine cap. I am looking into starting my own pool for cap as well as it being a multi-scrypt pool as well if anyone else is interested in this pool let me know either here or by private message.  I can give details as it is still in the development stage.

I trade about 50 coins on Cryptopia as just a way of indexing the market and they do tank several coins without concern.  I've invested in about four or five there for that some personal reason of their team (they didn't like the way the coin's team talked to them) they've decided to just let die, and often being the sole exchange the coin is traded on.

Yeah I'm going to say that Cryptopia reneged on their return of coins to their users... they're back to giving cookie cutter responses.

In other words, we ain't gettin shit.

Mining and only Solo Mine? And does it compensate for mining or due to the difficulty does it compensate more to keep the assets in Hold? It is listed only in Cryptopia ?

Not sure about first part, I just stake it. We are not even on Cryptopia, which is inexcusable for such a relatively large coin.   We might try to tighten up the Tradesatoshi ship, as I was not able to deposit there due to their address not being accepted by my wallet.

Yeah, I still let it do it's thing... but it's not quite the same without an exchange to play with.

There are so many new exchanges now.  This one looks like a good one:
