hi all
as there was some confusion and some issues with cap i wanted to check my own wallet. i saw that there was some block which have no confirmations and some with quite some confirmations (see pic attached)
i wanted to know if anybody else has an answer to this issue or if somebody could let me know where i could find a block explorer to check if i am on the right blockchain? and not forked away?

Thanks for the solo mine info tranz. I am loading in the new Block chain for the new wallet. It is slowly loading in. ugh it takes forever. When it is done I will try to solomine. So far I have never been able to get it working but I am excited to try the new instructions and see if I can solo mine.

There used to be a website that had all the coin info listed on it. It had the network hashrate and richlist and there was live charts so you could see the POW and POS blocks as they were found. Does that still exist for bottlecaps?

If our blockchain is working fine, it seems needed to bring the coin to another exchange.  Seems simple enough.  A lot of exchanges are offering free listings, maybe even Yobit would accept it.

No working blocker explorer is a big problem and it needs to be fixed.
Transactions can not be verified by a 3rd party.
Most exchanges will delist a coin for not having a working block explorer.

Yobit is a shit/scam exchange.

I recently paid for a listing at cryptohub, 500$ all said and done. If a few of us came together we could cover that easily enough.

As for the explorer, I will reach out cryptoid.info and see what their listing costs are.

Yobit is less convincing for the exchange, because there is a lot of poor feedback on such exchanges, it is better to coinexchange if necessary for the beginning.

pretty strange, wallet 2.3.0.0 usually can sync w/o addnodes.
try these:

That did it. It's syncing. Immediately, too. After the first couple tries, I added the 3 permanent nodes from page 1, but that didn't work either. I shut it down, added those nodes to the 3 permanent nodes I already had and deleted the existing empty blockchain it had built previously. I restarted it, it found multiple connections right away, and started synching. I guess in about 3 or 4 days I'll be good again.  Thanks!

From what I understand cryptopia has a security issue with the way they credit deposits. Someone was able to use the low deposit confirmations to double spend and withdraw funds that weren't actually deposited.

I may just say screw it and pay for us to be listed at cryptohub. If anyone wants to chip in, let me know.
