So, the reason why Cryptopia isn't trading this anymore is because the coin was hacked on their site, and Tradesatoshi is running the wallet and trading successfully? Isn't that a breach of contract for Cryptopia?
Have they updated to 2.3.x?

From what I understand cryptopia has a security issue with the way they credit deposits. Someone was able to use the low deposit confirmations to double spend and withdraw funds that weren't actually deposited. This explains in a little more detail how the double spend was successful. It's about CasinoCoin but applies to other coins which were 51% attacked. The main concerns (IMHO) are the relatively low number of confirmations needed for a coin with a low hashrate, and that once confirmed the deposit transaction is assumed immutable and is never checked again to see if it has been invalidated by a competing chain. A simple automated audit of recent deposits would have clearly shown there was a problem and mitigated the losses. https://www.reddit.com/r/casinocoin/comments/7yvvp1/casinocoin_foundation_final_statement_on_cryptopia/

Tranz why are you minting the 50m block? Using the hack to personally gain seems highly unethical.
You really should stop this and distribute the additional CAP earn't from minting to the rightful Cryptopia users.

Have they updated to 2.3.x? Well the answer to that question is no... they still have not upgraded to 2.3.x. Tradesatoshi has CAP listed as fork. Cryptopia has it listed as "working with dev" and "delisting"... Take it for what you will.

First of all this was done via the community, not me. If no one wanted this to happen, no one had to come onto this chain. It would just die. You can still feel free to join the old chain. Secondly, I could care less and I will destroy the 50M or use it for bounty for another exchange if that is what people want to do. I have no need or desire for the extra coins. Finally, it is going to the Users on Crypotipa. If Cryptopia ever gets their act together.

i think too that if we confirm with cryptopia that they r delisting they should at least let us withdrawl our coins to the old chain and then we can update to the new chain. Pretty soon regulation is going to step in and start coming down on exchanges that rn`t releasing “property” as the government calls crypto.

So as it stand right now; address EgffRPXXGiNBMt5r6G2foeqGrG26wd6jVH has 55,335,010.685995 coins. This is up 335k from the original 55 million that were mined for the community. I will continue to mint these to keep the difficulty high, create more coins for bounty and Cryptopia users, and why the hell wouldn't I??! This is a PoS coin isn't it? As far as distributing to people that have coins on Cryptopia. Sorry I will not do this, no time and I won't take responsibility for getting lied to, scammed, etc. I didn't sign up for that and I won't do it. End of Discussion. That said. I will give a trusted member of the community say 1 million coins at a time to give to those users. You can volunteer and others can vote on your trustworthiness. I know about 3 or 4 that I would trust. But keep in mind that if Cryptopia does come back and asks for the coins, and I don't have the coins to pay back, what then?? Although I am the only person doing any work at all for this coin, it is your coin, not mine. So figure something out and tell me what you want me to do with the coins... Instead of complaining. Thanks!

Thanks! This is great news! Splitting the account will offer great transparency. With regards to the coins, I think we should wait and sort the issue out with cryptopia as it is their problem. Giving the coins out to individual users will only leave us open to future problems. I also think we should be using that account as a community coffers. Until cryptopia claim their coins, we should be using the generated funds from minting the 55 million account to get us back on an exchange. The extra caps minted could pay for things like a web page or block explorer for example. The only issue is finding someone willing to work for caps.

I think you guys should check out the Cryptopia threads: Here is one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1669443.1560By just avoiding the huge problems they are having, this conversation seems a little deadened. Yes, it's nice to believe there is nothing wrong, it makes it seem like this will resolve easier. But, I think we should get on another little exchange in the mean time. I myself have four withdrawals from Cryptopia of major coins that have not made it to my wallets.

Ok so I received a response from Cryptopia that they are de-listing CAP and that we are to withdraw all coins to a personal wallet ASAP. See attached image !!! https://prntscr.com/io4irqI tried this a few months ago when our wallets were moving to a new version 2.3.0 and now I am not sure which wallet version we should be using to do a download test from Cryptopia to. I don't think that the new 2.3.0 version wallet will work? Cryptopia still shows the v2.2.2.0-g418187240-Caps2.0 on coininfo. I don't have access to my wallet from where I am at right now but when I do I will try and send off 10 coins to see what happens and see if they show up on the old v.2.2.0 wallet. I agree with some of the posts on the forum. If Cryptopia finally De-Lists CAP and everyone gets their coins back then we should then only consider getting on a new exchange. @tranz - Have you heard back from them?
