DOOGLUS FOOLED ALL OF YOU. IT WAS A PLANNED SCAM.

WHALE did withdraw -> dooglus paid him
whale keept playing and lost funds -> funds moved to dooglus

Now can someone tell me how the fuck he got loss??

All he needed to do is, remove bettings from WHALE's account.
You must be confused. The whale legitimately won 1300 BTC and cashed out. Dooglus cashed him out, but forgot to debit his account balance. 1300 BTC was left in the whale's balance (effectively, but by mistake, a freeroll), which he then gambled away and lost it all, putting the investors up by 1300 BTC in paper. Because the 1300 BTC in the account was effectively funny money, the wallet would have been short by 1300 BTC, so dooglus first covered it out of his own pocket. He later then reversed the bets by the whale and took the money back the investors should have never made to begin with.

Reversing fake bet was right but he did something else too and look at site, it shows profits in negative.

I just looked into this.  12 accounts have negative balances, indicating that they withdrew their profits from the fake bets.  The sum of these 12 account balances is -6.08206405 BTC.  The individual balances:

-0.00048667
-0.00672428
-0.01169665
-0.02610149
-0.02801511
-0.05864094
-0.14724078
-0.26096498
-0.52177427
-0.53065989
-0.97780326
-3.51195573

So only one person benefited by more than 1 BTC from this.

I made the decision once I realised that no coins had been stolen or lost.  An incorrect entry in the database went from celeste's account to a bunch of investor accounts, and so I corrected the error.

As for the people who divested and withdrew, check my previous post.  Only 12 people divested and withdrew such that I couldn't roll back the bets for their account, and only one of those gained more than 1 BTC by doing so.

Hi, Doog, I found out what happened in this morning just now, seems I was much luckier when i was a divestor than being a better Grin, I am the "-3.51195573", and have deposited back to JD. And I think your rollback-decision is right, keep the faith to move on.

Hey Atrax,
Very honest of you - glad to see honest people in the bitcoin community.

Yes, the site's profit is negative. We've had a couple whales win big. There is variance, and no guarantee we will always be at +1% profit (and in the beginning we were at much more than +1% profit). This is probably better as a long-term investment and we hopefully should return to profitability, but we need people to wager more (and that means whales, sometimes they win, and sometimes they lose - just so happens they've been winning but the house will eventually get its edge).

Anyways, we were still negative even after the 1300 BTC of funny money lost by the whale.

SD took 5 days to get 2000 back, it seems to be a lot slower for JD, is that 0.9% makes that much different.

I think the volume of coin moving through the site is smaller though, we might have more bets but SD has larger bets. But you're right we need a larger than SD volume to actually equal the same profits. The trouble is our volume is a lot smaller.

Remember about 40% of the entire volume for the site was made by 1 whale and he won.

Don't confuse percentage points with actual percentage. 1.9% is nearly twice 1%.

You raise a good point - perhaps for a new site a good rule would be to set the max bet as some combination of percentage of the house, AND percentage of total average betting volume for some time period.

So if house had 10k, but daily average volume was 50k, you could say (percent of house) * (total house / volume) = 1% * 0.2 = 0.2% of house max bet

That's just a random example, a real formula would be the solution of an equation involving the maximum expected time for the house to recover from a winning max bet

Why is the deposit adress changing? I bought 0.69 BTC yesterday and wanted them transfered on my JD account. My wallet at the time was 1PpyrMf787iuS5jSEKR8gb96KmrXNjfgG2. Today I log in to see that my wallet has changed to 1HwKzAgXe6zAnTuUQEJwwXNwLC6tHTNvo2. It is writtten that I can use my old wallet if I want but will the coins be transfered to my account or are they lost in the process?

You can use the old address and it will go into the same account.

dooglus is using getaccountaddress probably. Not really a good idea especially when a user is auto created when you visit a site - prepare for a massive wallet.dat.

The average should be calculated over a few days (such as the average of the last 3 days for example)

Otherwise daily would be less effective because the whale would gain larger and larger max bets as he pumped more coin through the site.

is a good idea for anonymity - some gamblers will like their deposits to be as anonymous as possible so reusing the same address sort of defeats that aim.

Not much in my experience. The bitbattle.me wallet is currently 253MB and i don't see any noticeable impact on system speed or load.
