I like the project. If I had to give any criticism, it would be the tokens for downloading the app part of the plan. It just makes a giant list of people that will not actually use the platform. I think it creates a messy start to a social media app. Look at alphabet social platform for example. It's a spam fest and I already have more followers there than I do on twitter. Without even trying because they offer tokens for every friend you confirm.

Tokens for joining I think are still ok, it's pretty much the same as bounty campaigns. Despite the fact that some people won't use it, it still spreads the word. Giving tokens for confirming friends is however a little too much.

I agree about this. People should get something for joining. It is a nice motivation.

It shouldn't be huge but it is way more logical than telegram airdrops and etc.

giving some little presents of tokens to first members can increase entering to platform, although i like telegram airdrops, i think this option has more advantages then the telegram airdrops.

ICO lasts 2 months, I think until 9 April and afaik there is no bonus, ICO price is 0,14$ per token. Don't know if you get tokens for downloading the app but you can get some for signing up on their site (https://sphere.social) and for referring others.

Oh, they do referrals. Many projects now use referrals and I think it is a great way to attract more investors.

I say that for the start of the project, 250k users is a great start. It was just the same with Facebook at first, it was just for the students inside Harvard University.
All social networking needs a boost. This boost is us.
In time, the world will see that it is a secure network and that their data is safe, and they will make more of a change.
Surely Sphere will be a great competitor of Facebook.

I only used it at the start. At that time it was only needed to register. But i don't know the rules are the same or changed.
