The competition for ticker symbols is getting stronger day by day, I noticed another project which wants to use SAT as the ticker for their token (Sandblock).

Its because there are so many ICOs since 2017, and based on what the system decide the right ticker owner?

Well, look at Facebook and their marketplace and then you know what you can sell on social media. Nearly everything is possible.

Facebook is also using data generated by the users them self, but this i don't think is gonna happen in this project?

I don't think this was their intention, but people started to use facebook to sell stuff, so they probably just made a strategic move on it

They probably didnt, but when you look it like that, social media is a perfect way to sell stuff since is one of the most visited platforms on the internet and people are using it daily. I am sure Sphere will also be a popular site to sell some stuff.

That's the main 'sale' of this platform. A marketplace or a trading platform. This was stated by the team.
Maybe they should build a marketplace on their platform. I think that could be a good opportunity for them to get more revenue.

Well, usually with this kind of bonus, there is a locking period so the prices are not dumped, I will enter an ICO that gives me a lot f bonus, and also to lock it, i don't mind waiting, but it appears that is not the case here, so lets hope the project is not dumped much, the price will rise eventually, but after how  much time?

will allow users to create products which followers and friends can see and purchase using their SAT.

I hope not just follower and friends will be able to see the stuff you put up in marketplace. This would limit your potential buyers a lot in my eyes. It would be better to make it possible to bring it to a wider audience, like regional or even if you choose country wide.

I don't think there is any formal system to decide that.
It is up to the developers to conduct research before launching a project in order to prevent having a duplicate ticker symbol, else this will be a problem when listing on exchanges: the first one to list on an exchange will prevent the other from listing with that ticker on that particular exchange.

Those crypto games are surely clogging the network, but I would like to think Sphere will not be concentrating fully on those but with each social transactions that needs SAT tokens.Imho.

Would be btter if they have own blockchain. than they can make good games and dont have any problem with overload.

They should think about some kind of group thing like its currently on facebook. Where you can promote your old stuff to a informal group of people who are interested

I also think that social network is a nice thing to build a marketplace, that connect people, so it’s easy to build a community and make a marketplace work. Sphere could do that in the future but first they will build a social network platform.

The more I try to stop the progress of Crypto I see, the more certain I have that I have entered the right branch to act, the desperate attempt by Facebook to stop ICOs and everything related in its platform, is more proof of how desperate they are for a imminent surrender to Blockchain

if ETH won't prove sufficient I'm sure they'll invest in having their own blockchain. it just makes sense. either that or a different blockchain that is better suited.

There are better blockchain out there better than Ethereum, I am waiting for Stratis. Sphere will do better with Stratis, it is C# dot net and will do better for web programming.

A lot of projects start from Ethereum and than swap tp own blockchain. Hope devs here will do same? Own blockchain always better
