Don't forget reddit guys. It's very good to read opinions there. I like projects which have a big community there the most.
Yeah, Reddit was always ahead of all in terms of news. Apparently, they take into control cryptonews as well. I like that people there try to have an unbiased opinion, like Wiki; therefore one may form his/her own idea (not dictated by others) about the project

I never paid any attention to my Facebook account. Today I got some friend requests. Well, that escalated quickly...

I accepted 2 of them, and now I get an endless stream of friend requests.

Now I know what people do all day.

Facebook Pokemoning
Spending time on facebook adding people to friend list just to collect some, and not particularly cause you know them.

Sphere team, can you take care of that? Because it is a massive waste* of time.

I fully agree with you about this. Fake profiles are a common problem on facebook. But the same goes with Twitter. Just think off all the crypto celebrities fake profiles. Can you do something against that?

Normally, if a project has a large community it is a guarantee of success since it already has a large number of users, who use the platform and who are likely to told about it to their nearby people.

I do not think Sphere can do anything about it. The only person who must be  careful when accepting a request for friendship is you. If you do not know the person, or if you have nothing in common, not even another friend, you should not accept his friendship request.

Counter on the site working? Im just curious, because few days ago counted showed same % of raised amount  Huh

Either way its a problem. They should fix that counter bug if its a bug if its not, i think we need something to boost on sales.
At least in etherscan can look at their contract address, now there balance ~78 eth. Early investors are not so many, but they will receive the maximum bonus 45%

Do you mean this contract? https://etherscan.io/address/0xc56b13ebbcffa67cfb7979b900b736b3fb480d78
If I'm not mistaken.
At the moment, not very much is collected.
Now the bonus is already 35%. Maybe before April 9 they will be able to collect the entire amount, although this is doubtful.

If you check the smart contract, you will see a whale has bought in with 48 eth. I think within a couple of there should be more with the market recovering sentiments to invest and if sphere does the marketing right.
Is 80 ETH not much? What do you think?
In my opinion it is a good amount for the status of the project. But lets wait how it goes on.

Doesn't sound that much but with an more or less ready platform it should be enough to go on with their project. Would be also interesting to know how much they raised in BTC and via credit card.

This problem could be perhaps solved with strict authentification when creating a profile, but this will scare off many users from joining the platform. I am sure that the devs will find some golden middle

Seems like the project isn't getting the much needed attention from the community. The funds raised is just too poor <$100K. I think what the team needs at this point is a solid marketing plan and continous development of the platform. If things continue this way, The project might just fail just before it even gets started due to insufficient funds to carry out operations.

I was thinking more in the direction of an "Accept all friend requests" button so we do not have to waste so much time clicking the buttons one-by-one when we are pokemoning, but yeah, yours is also a good idea Wink

Well, a social network on its own is not o appealing, they need the marketing here, but I think they will just do the project anyway, that will make the investors happy to know that the project is not being canceled.

So I will have privacy in my access to social networks? Will anyone have access to my profile on social networks, so that undesirable advertisements are not sent?

As i understand it, you can choose what data you want to share/sell. So your data is your own, and the income for it also goes to you, not the platform like with Facebook.

Will you get paid with SAT tokens, or how will they do the compensation for your sold data?

SAT tokens will be the in-platform utility token to be used on different kinds of transactions and activities.

It’s unfortunate timing for the sale to be held when there is such poor sentiment for altcoins. If it was held in December there would have been a lot more raised

Yes and no, market sentiment can change in any moment and we can see green charts again

There is an increase in the predominance of BTC at this time, precisely because of the Alts falls, the timing may be more conducive to ICOS applications, although many find otherwise, profits from this scenario go down very well as promising design applications such as Sphere

When they talk about decentralization, they speak about removing control over personal data and removing ads.

But this is not decentralization. This social network will still not be able to function without a central server, will it?. Or am I missing something here?

You cannot call something decentralized if you just remove ads from it.

That will become a cool feature if we can accept all friend request with only one click. Tbh, accepting one by one sometimes can be a boring thing to do.
