Unfortunately we are still in the stage of persecution and defamation, for sure we will have better days, and those who are pursuing today will surrender to Crypto and everything related. Sphere is a step further and will have its large share in this process
if sphere can get at least 1M active users and open ads platform, it will great. sphere can fight with big platform subh as fb and twitter No platforms can fight with Giants like Facebook and Twitter at this moment. They have a huge market share and people are just lazy to test something new, I'm waiting for the new things apart from them which sphere can offer. that's once said for ICQ,MSN, myspace or else.. Once they are the main messengers or platforms, now they are just some good old memories (to those over 25:) ) Even facebook is ceding ground to Instagram. Infact, I hardly log in there anymore except to peer at Leica and film photography forum, it's the only novelty now. Sphere can make a mark if it can be open and respectly of privacy at the same time Surely in time, Sphere will gain a place among the big giants like Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. And they have a plus to them because they will be on the blockchain and the security will be bigger. They will always be people who want defamation, But so it was for all in the beginning.. I think it will be a great success. If they develop the platform correctly I think there is a place in the market for a project like that. Substituting Facebook or Twitter seems complicated, but I think I can get a good user base. Maybe they can attract the people who are interested in crypto. I think in a few years a lot of young people will have cryptos.

I don't see the masses of social media moving any time soon, but it would be nice to have our own social network for crypto users. (Other then twitter or steemit).

i think at the moment almost all social networks are similar at the platform level, facebook is a bit above only for the vast number of registered users, i think sphere will be successful if they can offer a large amount of services and options and mobile apps lighter and faster than competitors
Maybe they can implement some games on the platform like facebook did. Their token could be supported by this games. This is a great idea, many mobile games do have its own currency, so implementing those games/tokens with sphere system can increase traffic.

But maybe they can fix those rates monthly or sth. like that?

I'm using some of my assets to invest in Sphere and I think it will be profitable for me.

i bet after the tokensale and having a working plattform with more users, this token will fly high in 2018 True, just at the right moment too. If this crypto recession wears off in March and the sentiment will become bullish again

i bet after the tokensale and having a working plattform with more users, this token will fly high in 2018 The problem is that it's very hard for a social platform to get new users. Look at steemit. Well what‘s wrong with Steemit? As far as I know they are growing. Of course not as fast as Facebook did, but if you think about that Facebook is a very strong competition and Steemit mainly for crypto users at the moment. Beside that it is more focused on blogging and still quite userunfriendly. Also they have some very useless rules there like let people use bots to get more upvotes and money but in the same moment they get crazy about if you tag your posts wrong lol the Steemit community is mostly driven by greed instead of good content. And that is maybe the point why Steemit ultimately will fail to get really big. But Sphere looks much more useful as a ‘replacement‘ for Facebook here, at least in the beginning for crypto user.

Steemit is good, popular social platform. I have used Steemit recent months, it works smoothly. Sphere is likely a competitor for Facebook, not Steemit. They are focus on different targeting users and community.

I must say that it is indeed a steep learning curve, and it's definitely not ready for mass adoption. If their text editor was half as good as bitcointalk's, I'd be so happy. I do agree that Sphere isn't a direct competitor to Steemit, but I am open to blogging on Sphere if it was easier to use & simpler to be rewarded.

how large is the bonus here for early investors?
70% bonus if you invest $128,000 USD You can register on their site to see the bonuses structure. 70% bonus? Its too much. Big whales will buy a lot of tokens and will have a biggest bonus. I think they must reduce bonus. up to 20-30% is ok. Right . 50% used to be high. Now it's 70% that's alot yeah, I'm afraid that the wales will end up buying most tokens and leave regular users with crumbs. I prefer whales. They know how to earn money at least. If everybody is small investors they have very weak hands. A bad news and price crashed. Yeah, and actually its all fair, they can profit a lot and also lose a lot. They just put a higher risk than the small investors.

How about Golos? This 2 crypto social network which I know, and they are popular (Steemit and Golos). May be Sphere have a chance become popular too

In place of the old, something new always comes, if speaking about facebook, I think this social network is outdated and any upgrade would does not help - probably human nature is so arranged that monotony with time annoying. That's for sure! And the current ban has further aggravated the situation on Facebook. Now people will be looking for alternative social network to share information about cryptomite! The Sphere is perfect for that!

We Proudly Bring You Sphere Social Network
We're thrilled to finally announce the imminent birth of SAT, a new and innovative decentralized social network scheduled for ICO on February 12th, 2018.
Sphere is built on the idea that privacy, company transparency, and data security should be the fundamental building block of every social platform.
Sphere is an already existing product on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
So far we have a community of over 200,000 members that have joined our program which is expected to continue rising. Do not be left out.
The Sphere Network is powered by the Social Activity Token (SAT)
Social Activity Token (SAT) connects businesses and people. SATs are used throughout the system to facilitate transactions within the decentralized social network. SAT must be maintained in an ERC20 compliant Ethereum wallet to take advantage of the rewards.
SAT will be traded at 20 SAT = $1 USD during the Initial Coin Offering but you can get it at a discount during the presale here https://sphere.social/presale/
What's more?
Download our App!
