Since yesterday evening, I am having an enormous amount of duplicates, about 33% ?! Any idea why this could happen ?
I have figure it has to do with the empty 4th bank. I placed back the non/hashing boards and the duplicates are back to ´normal´.

Order 220 just received. The august delivery promise was kept, but it was a close call. Got a starter kit with two H-boards, which greatly overdelivers the promised hashrate. The unit is hashing at around 40GH/s (+-3GH/s). Setup was really easy with the simple web interface, I just input my pools there and restarted the miner.
I'd like to invite everyone who is going to receive a unit to use a small pool and/or p2pool if the miner inside the unit can work with it. There are several small pools, pools with less than 50 TH/s of capacity, which should/need to grow to be able to balance the one or two mega-pools available. This is for the health of the bitcoin network, most of all, and given that BitFury is delivering several TH/s of hashing power this is a good moment for this call to arms spiccioli Could someone please provide step-by-step instructions on how to configure chainminer to run as a p2pool configuration?? I'm surprised almost nobody has documented that well enough on what needs to be done the rPi side. I think I'm somewhat clear (although not 100% sure) on what software/steps that needs to run on my PC/host but I read somewhere that some chainminer files need to be updated on the rPi side. I'd highly appreciate it. Sadly it does not work with p2pool because slush's stratum proxy does not and chainminer has no stratum support. spiccioli So in the end, under bitfury we are trapped at the mercy of countless DDoS attacks. I have, and I expect many others too, lost LOTS of coins due to this severe limitation that leaves us absolutely defenseless. :-/ Is there any documentation, however limited or partially tested, on how to compile and run bfgminer or cgminer for bitfury for p2pool??? This is getting really painful. I haven't tried this but what is stopping you from running a p2pool node on a PC on your LAN and setting it's IP as the getwork address in jobconnect.cpp and recompiling? (I read somewhere that I need to run some 'base' command and paste the outcome somwhere else?) c) What else needs to be edited/commented/added in jobconnect.cpp and how to safely recompile it ? d) Do I need to stop the stratum proxy process and where's the safest place to edit the configuration file and remove the command/comment it? e) Does bfgminer seem to work better than cgminer for this type of setup? What's more recommended? f) Something else I may be missing A bit of more detailed help will be very appreciated. Thanks!

So far no reply to 2 emails. I have 2 junk boards they sent me and im furious about it really. They were both rev 1 boards, 1 had 11 dead chips, the other wont go over 20ghs...

The one that works at 20 gh is considered a good one

I ordered a 2* 25gh cards in 1 order and in a separate order 14 *25gh cards and a starter kit, not a 400gh unit. That means I should be guaranteed a minimum of 25gh per card.

Normaly each of the boards can be pushed over 32 gh even with 1 or 2 dead chips ... my 10 boards old august and new oct run at 360+gh ... stable ... if stability is problem try to run the board chips at 53 clock

are your October h-boards also that much different? I have only one of these, so I don't know if it is only me...
Already quite impressive in stock condition, with voltage tweaked to 0.81V it runs even a little faster (~37GH) than both my August boards (~36GH at max. 0.84V) - and that with one completely dead chip!
Could it be the missing capacitors (the only difference I can see, aside from the already slightly changed R01F)?
Also: did you notice the different voltages the chips get, compared to the output of the voltage regulator? At least the caps show different readings, didn't check at the chips while running. Could there be a current/copper cross-section "problem" on the boards?
Has the reason/source of the overheating caps on the October boards been found? Maybe there could be some kind of relation (currents flowing through caps to level HF voltage ripple because of voltage drop)?
I don't have enough hardware (yet) to investigate as much as I would like to...

About half of them were also shipped, and the remaining ones will be going out on monday or tuesday with whatever else we'll have packed by then. My team is confident that we'll have all remaining orders out of the door within 2 weeks, and if we really manage to pull it off I would then reopen sales for immediate shipment of v1.2 H-cards and hopefully also our new stuff! (more about this later when I get my hands on them) For those of you receiving your first units, there should've been an instructions sheet for setting up your miner inside your box. If yours came without instructions you can download it from HERE. We're also preparing a datasheet for the chip (it's currently in russian only). on the v1 h-boards, i measure voltage across the caps (not the regulator) and find that of 2-3 caps sampled the voltage is within 0.005V range Thanks for replying! I suppose you compared caps from different groups, as the ones close together of course must have nearly the same voltage? On all my boards (overvolted, Aug., and Oct.) there is a difference between every group which is big enough to have significant impact on the chip clocks. The biggest gap is on the longest current path, between the caps beside the voltage regulator and the group farthest away (upper left, chips 3,4,5,6?). On the October boards without caps it is about 0.03V, on August ones about 0.015-0.02V. Seems not much, but we are talking about 0.6-0.9V core voltage! In the meantime I tried to support the current distribution: only one (really) thick wire (mV drop at 15 Amps!) on the longest v+ path already makes a noticeable difference and reduces the voltage drop to about 1/2. The hash rates for the individual chips are much more even now. I am sure, doing the same for GND and the other groups will improve performance further.

Does anyone know what this means and/or how to solve ? pi@bitfury:/opt/bitfury$ sudo ./start-miner-console.sh INIT: 0 chips detected Floating point exception My Bitfury starterkit stopped hashing and refuses to hash I had the same problem with my other starterkit, that one never worked. Mailed BFSB several days ago and pm'ed P but maybe someone knows something that helps ?
