Guys, the 120,000 shares were mine.  I made a deal with Ken.  Because he is so busy, I paid him a VERY  high premium to have my shares transferred from BF to BTCT.  The premium went directly to the company.  I advise everyone with less than 120,000 shares not to do this, as the price was very high and wouldn't be worth it for most shareholders.  I paid him $5000, which went directly to the company.

I did get immediately on the horn and called Kens office.  I was transferred to his cell and asked what was going on with this 120k dump.  It was explained to me that a serious investor had made a deal to him in fiat to transfer those over to Btct.  I guess now as we see that was Volcanic.  When talking to him I could tell he was on the road (can hear the wind), and asked where he was headed to, while apologizing for calling after hours.  He had told me he was on the road to meet with the engineering firm.  I had asked how many hours were left in the drive and he stated 4-5 hours.

Thanks for the update Streets. Smiley

"To the company"

What does this mean exactly?

It will be considered profit either used to cover expenses or paid out in div..

Hm.. okay.

But I'm not sure I like that though. The spread between exchanges was so large today, that's a potential $20-30k profit.

I, too, would like the privilege of transferring between exchanges. I'm sure we all wouldn't mind paying the company a high percentage fee for such abilities. But that's not an option that was offered to us, was it?

You WILL be able to transfer between exchanges for FREE once the dust settles and Ken isn't so busy.  I paid the premium to have it done NOW.  I'm sure most shareholders would appreciate that Ken did this for me, as you guys just made $5000 off me.

Unless you gain some sort of anonimity, perhaps more than that will be made of you.  Merely advice.  You have exposed yourself.

I don't see what you're saying..

Maybe investors would've made more by issuing new shares instead... maybe.

If you dump on btct now then you are going to piss off a lot of people and probably make much more then $5k. Let's not pretend it was some favour unless you guarantee you won't sell those shares for a few weeks at least.

As for the new people saying this is all bananas. Well it is and it isn't. If you actually read the plan and did the math, wch is available on the front page of the other activeminer thread, then you'll understand.

The plan is solid but it's down to eASIC to manufacture the hardware, and we're a couple of weeks from a press release about that at the mo.

If enough people are interested, I might be willing to tender shares from Bitfunder to BTCT for 15%

<number of shares on bitfunder>/1.15 = <number of shares on btct.co>

It would be handled through private transfers (you first, or we agree on a 3rd party for escrow).  I would then sell some of the shares I received as profit to cover the fee of having Ken transfer the shares back to btct.

I'm not really trying to make a profit here, just trying to give others the transfer option without over-burdening Ken and making it worth my time.

Because I don't believe in the politics of Bitfunder.  They are trying to legitimize the exchange, whereas burnside is saying fuck it with FIAT all together.  If there is one exchange I think will win over time it's BTCT and I just don't want the hassle of declaring shares after an exchange seizure

Oh look. Big new wall appeared on btct.

And your views on btct vs bitfunder make absolutely no sense. Stop playing politics. This is clearly profit motivated and I don't see why you have a problem admitting it.

Are you sure they're so different in their 'politics' ? Burnside said he and Ukyo were in collaboration talking to legal counsel to alleviate any regulatory issues.

As many of you have noticed, I am an extremely paranoid individual and not very reasonable at times..
Who knows, i probably just wasted 5k
