Because I don't believe in the politics of Bitfunder.  They are trying to legitimize the exchange, whereas burnside is saying fuck it with FIAT all together.  If there is one exchange I think will win over time it's BTCT and I just don't want the hassle of declaring shares after an exchange seizure

Are you sure they're so different in their 'politics' ? Burnside said he and Ukyo were in collaboration talking to legal counsel to alleviate any regulatory issues.

Exactly. Neither exchange is sitting in a better position with regard to regulatory action. That said, my feeling is that barring fraud, the chances of anything happening at all are remote. They can each take some steps to better protect themselves, but everyone should know that this is part of the risk we all face playing this incredibly fun and profitable Bitcoin game, but it's certainly not the biggest risk.

No you shouldn't have to show your portfolio.

If you moved the shares due to paranoia or you moved them to make a quick buck, why the hell should ANY of us care?  We all do what we feel is in our best interest whether that be short or long term. Get over the witch hunt guys.  Nothing wrong occurred, the money will be distributed in dividends for the rest of us, and at the end of the day even of the share price drops a bit we all know that once eASIC news arrives this whole situation will be moot.

Honestly guys, please grow up a bit.
