This is clearly fake, Stuartuk is not affiliated with ActiveMining and his account was probably hacked.

EDIT - IT was a joke, apologies for any offence.

lol I thought most of the regulars would have spotted that a mile away especially after reading the complaining posts before. The 'Hardware Store' line was for the really slow ones. Apologies to PR, in the UK were are used to irony which clearly doesn't translate well sometimes.

Congrats to VE and AW.  Undecided

The guy that just posted fake news should seriously be banned.

Do you realize someone could of bought a million shares expecting them to have prototypes this week, only to learn later that the post was fake?

Someone could of lost a lot of money because of your stupid joke. I hope you're happy with yourself...

PS: I hardly ever call someone out like this on the forums, but this is just plain wrong.

It wasn't 'fake news' it was an obvious joke - not to some however, and for that I am regretful.

Do you realize someone could of bought a million shares expecting them to have prototypes this week, only to learn later that the post was fake?

Now that IS funny.

Stuartuk's trust and credibility are pretty much null and void as far as I'm concerned. Really lame "joke."

I'm pissed because you were one of the "voices of reason" on here. Now I just wanna hit ignore.

I'm sorry you feel that way but pleased that I had some credibility before this regrettable incident.

Tis fascinating how people interpret whats written in front of them, and its given intent. And then the responses.........oh the irony!

EDIT: Just realised. Its silly season here in Blighty, where news-voids create alternative stories..........while we WAIT for news.  Huh

I'm trying to do my best - like a lot of others are here and a fine job they do. I'm more or less all-in on ACtM so don't want to do anything that damages the company or it's partners as that would be self-defeating. Again sorry to anyone who took it the wrong way it won't happen again, I realise it was a mistake.

Seriously, if you buy a million shares because of some claims done by a random person on a forum (not directly affiliated with ACTM at all), you display such poor judgement that you deserve to lose money.

It was a bad joke, and that's all.

Ken et al - Would it be possible to give us a little heads up on when you next expect a little news for us? :-) Also interested to know how the board selection process is going.

Ken and the engineers have ordered special 'glue guns' from 'Tim's Springfield Hardware Store' so the process should be quite rapid!

Someone bought 12k shares on BTCT shortly after that post Wink

Ah that's what happen, I was wondering why there was a large trade a few hours ago.
It's interesting watching things unfold here on the forums.

Yes that was a fucked up Joke, but he's not D2M.

I suggest that his credibility is deflated and with more of the voice of reason and time, he'll regain what was lost.

Apparently someone did purchase 12k shares right after the joke post. It may or may not have been related. The fact is I'm not coming here for entertainment purposes. This is serious shit and any FUD, trollbox, bickering or joke posts can seriously affect this delicate and fickle market.

During the 30mins (11:46 -12:46) between my parody good news and me posting it was a joke (as soon as I saw some thought it was real news) we saw:

One trade on bitfunder only, which was a purchase of 4 shares = 0.020btc value

and

Four buys on bct-tc to a total of 100 shares = approx 0.5 btc. The rest of the trades were small sells.

So I don't see any effect and certainly no 'large trade'.

It can only affect this "delicate and fickle market" because some people are stupid enough to base their investment decision on what some random guy says in a public forum.
Don't just believe what random people are saying without some critical thinking. And that doesn't just go for bitcoin, that goes for life.

I give that "fake news" a lol. And if someone indeed bought 12k shares because of it, that's another lol.

Amazing how a joke (and clearly one) can affect the market.

Price wentt from .0056ish to nearly .006 in a flash ... and fell back just as fast. (on btct)

HAD to be due to that joke of a news.

Scary actually
