Just out of curiosity (and I promise this isn't meant to be sarcastic), how long are you willing to wait without news?
End of Sept.?
End of Oct.?
Impossible question to answer, it depends how things pan out here, with competition, and with btc price. I'm sure that's the same for everyone. If no news by end Sep I would be asking serious questions and don't think that is atall likely. All my own opinion. |

I feel that there is value in a daily, bi-daily update on the situation even if there is no change though.
Do you think that isn't worth it?
Absolutely not. No company has daily updates it's a ridiculous suggestion IMO and would only pander to speculators and cause share price volatility. |

I think weekly or bi-weekly updates would be great.
More realistic, but right now this is impossible with an NDA in place. PR have already said once the NDA is signed off we will be getting regular news. It's not difficult to understand this is it? (not directed at anyone in particular). |

So only 7 months away then. 'Massive Luck Investments' - they might need it. No, they'll have the chips in hand in November, according to their plan. 100k chips at 40Gh/s each. They just expect it to take from November to April to get everything installed and running. Massive Luck may mobilize the entire 5,000 workforce of one of its companies, Cutting Edge, to work in three shifts around the clock to assemble all mining units within a week or so in January. Around 0.5 Petahashes of CoinCraft computing power will be hosted for customer use. How many employees is ActiveMining going to have working on setting up and installing hardware? That's obviously not covered under any NDA, is it? The idea that somehow ActiveMining is more likely to succeed then this company, along with KnC, Cointerra, Labcoin, ASICMiner, and HashFast seems pretty unlikely to me. |

I'm afraid that's business. Everyone is putting blame on ACtM for the news blackout, do they deserve any? NDA's are common place and Ken like any other customer had to sign one to get the partnership. I'm sure this is as frustrating for him and the Board as it is for you. Personally I'm cool with it, the deal is too important to jepordise with constant posts on here from PR trying to assure people news is coming. Investing isn't often stress free but you should not get worked up unnecessarily. |

If anyone can find ANYTHING out about 'Massive Luck Investments' please let me know. The only reference on the entire web about this 5k employer with it's own factory, offices across the world which has 'gold and copper mining and rare earth metals' mining interests and is designing a 'Super Computer' for the Chinese Gov is this PR releases from today. How likely is that? I would put money on 'MLI' being two guys in their mums bedroom in HK who BitMine have asked to pretend they are big time and are investing in them. This is the only traceable part of MLI I can find as mentioned in the PR article: http://www.betcoindice.tm/#/Does that look like the work of an international company with 5,000 staff? It's a BitMine PR stunt IMO. Ken could do that shit and pay-off CoinDesk too. But would you want to invest in a company that publishes lies to generate business? If anyone can disprove my brief investigation I will withdraw the allegation. |

1) Is Active Mining on schedule or not? "Yes" or "No" will suffice
2) If the answer to question 1 is "No", how many days is Active Mining behind the schedule?

Doesn't make much of a difference if I believe it, since I don't own any shares and they aren't taking any pre-order money. Here's the problem: Either it's really hard to make an ASIC and most people who try fail, or it's really easy to make an Asic and most people who who try actually succeed. If the first is true, you have to doubt that ActiveMining is likely to fail as well. On the other hand, if it's easy then you would expect ActiveMining's competitors to succeed. But if they all succeed, then the margins are going to be super-thin and most will end up not making much money. It'll be a bloodbath and the difficulty will skyrocket. So the question is, what makes ActiveMining so much better then all the other companies out there? Why should anyone think they'll be able to execute where all others will fail? I have to say I don't really see much reason to think that will be the case. |
