The guy that just posted fake news should seriously be banned.
Do you realize someone could of bought a million shares expecting them to have prototypes this week, only to learn later that the post was fake?
Someone could of lost a lot of money because of your stupid joke. I hope you're happy with yourself...
PS: I hardly ever call someone out like this on the forums, but this is just plain wrong.
Seriously, if you buy a million shares because of some claims done by a random person on a forum (not directly affiliated with ACTM at all), you display such poor judgement that you deserve to lose money. It was a bad joke, and that's all. Apparently someone did purchase 12k shares right after the joke post. It may or may not have been related. The fact is I'm not coming here for entertainment purposes. This is serious shit and any FUD, trollbox, bickering or joke posts can seriously affect this delicate and fickle market. At the same time, that buyer, if he did buy b/c of the "news" took a risk by not waiting to get the official word. Wait for the news, or risk it and beat the potential surge of buys. He chose poorly.

And I think that if some one buys a million shares after some random non-affiliated dude makes post should clearly pay for his stupidity.

Nobody thinks that the stupidity of the joke post outweighs the stupidity of the large purchase? Weather the joke meant to or not, it clearly affected someone's decisions and the market. To me it only looks like market manipulation thinly veiled as a joke.

Hello everyone, I'm in with ActM but I've to say I've always been suspicious about Ken's reliability. That's why I've sent a lot of e-mails to eASIC to have a confirmation about a relationship between them and VMC, and few days ago I received a reply: my question: Dear eASIC,
The Virtual Mining Corporation and his CEO Kenneth Slaughter are claiming that are involved with you to develop a 28nm ASIC chip able to mine bitcoin, and it should be the actual state-of-art in the mining bitcoin field.
I know that these are probably reserved information, but I'd just like to know whether such a relationship exists to avoid scams and inferences about you and the VMC CEO.
the answer: Hello
I can reveal that we have engaged in discussions with VMC, however those discussions are protected under NDA. Therefore for further details I would suggest you contact VMC directly
///Paul
I hope this is interesting for someone of you

2013-08-13 21:58:03 Market Buy 12000 ฿ 0.005992 ฿ 71.904
not to mention thousands of smaller ones with several in the 2000-3500 shares range
From what I can see this forum and btc-cc share the same time. If that's correct then that 12k market buy on btc-ct was at 12:58 which is a full hour and 2mins after my parody news post and a full 30mins after my post saying it was a joke. So that makes it totally unrelated. Only 4 trades on btc-tc taken inbetween my posts, as I said they totaled 100shares, and in the 30mins after my redaction a total of 200 shares bought over many small market buys. = no effect. Anyone can go here https://btct.co/security/ACTIVEMININGand here https://bitfunder.com/asset/ActiveMiningand check it out themselves. Click on History

I agree, I don't really follow these forums and a non-affiliated post certainly wouldn't get me to make a large purchase or sell. If someone did buy based on a rumor, it's their own fault if they get burned. I basically buy shares when I've mined enough that I can afford them and they are at a good price, I'm in this for the long haul which may be a mistake as well but one I'll own up to if it turns out that way.

do you think Ken would really use super special "glue" guns from tims hardware store? No.. it's obviously a joke. They are not building childrens crafts here..
if anyone was that gullible to fall for that, they shouldn't be investing bitcoins. They should be focusing on their homework..
