Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?

I don't see a reason why people would lose interest in other cryptocurrency just because bitcoins died. I think people will gain more interest in other coins because the top competitor is now gone. I guess people will start buying more etheriums and other top coins other than bitcoins.

I can't imagine, bitcoin die. If bitcoin down trends start and it come below my self assessment target, than i will shift some of bitcoin wealth of ethereum or lite coin. But anyhow, we are confident crypto currency to not going anywhere as it has been so popular nowadays.

It actually depends on what will happen in the future. Of course, if given the scenario that the cryptocurrencies will lose there value then people will most definitely lose their interest. I'm quite positive that people will look for a coin that has the same characteristics like bitcoin because they still want to earn.

Well you can say alot of people will lose interest in cryptocurrencies if bitcoin dies. But as you know there are pretty good altcoin like Ethereum which have alot of potential and are good for long term investments. I think those good altcoins can replace bitcoins. But surely it will never be the same as alot of people would think altcoin would die too like bitcoins did.

Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell?

No. Whether bitcoin continues to rise, fall, or fails all together at some point and becomes absolutely worthless and dubbed as the greatest ponzi scheme of all time I think there will always be cryptocurrencies now in one form or another. They're far too valuable and useful for them to never exist at all. Even if one only exists purely as a medium used by drug dealers or criminals online that will be enough. There's currently no better payment system than bitcoin (or cryptos) for that right now so some sort of cryptocurrency will likely always be used online. At some point we will likely even see a country adopt a crypto of their own. Even as money it's far better than fiat because it cannot be counterfeited and all current paper and coin money can be and often quite easily. Just watch this Vice documentary on how easy it is to make almost perfect US dollars and there's probably billions on them in circulation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RoZrtBijRY

Bitcoin/cryptos pretty much perfectly solve this problem. Despite the (un)popular opinion that criminals use bitcoin to launder money it's usually cash that they favor and is far easier to hide. Blockchain technology by it's very nature is a giant ledger so it's possible to track and trace payments whereas it's almost impossible to do that with hand to hand cash transactions. Cash is pretty much on its way out any way and likely will be gone within our lifetime or maybe even the next generation, and all money will eventually go digital, but whether it's just numbers on a screen like we have with our current online banking or some form of bitcoin or crypto only time will tell.

which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?

As for this question, I'd probably have to go with one of the other big ones like ETH, LTC or BCH, but I suspect if bitcoin was to fail completely there would be a better currency than all those four combined that would surpass or overtake them. Which one that will be only time will tell but I'm sure it hasn't been created yet.

People will lost their interest on bitcoin if they will continuously scammed by scammers and if they dont know or they cant earn in bitcoin. Thats the reason why some people quit bitcoin.

If bitcoin die people will look for another coin to invest and reach or even surpassed what bitcoin did. In current time, cryptocurrency will just repeat its cycle over and over again.

I think people will lose interest with cryptocurrencies just for a while if bitcoin die.  But people will not give up to try the another kind investment such Ethereum that also has a really good potential and great investment. But I am pretty sure that bitcoin can not be replace easily in people's mind that ever joined bitcoin. Maybe they will search another type of coin but bitcoin is the legend one  Wink

Bitcoin will not die,

But if bitcoin dies, i think people will lose interest with cryptocurrencies just for a while. I think Ethereum or Litecoin probably will take the place of bitcoin. If bitcoin dies i think altcoins will drag down as well. An altcoin maybe take the place of bitcoin as the best crypto in the world.

If bitcoin dies, I think the whole cryptocurrency market may be history, leaving only blockchain technology in the future, and there's no market for encrypting money anymore.

No way bitcoin will be dead. But nothing lasts forever they say so if that will happen, I'll invest ETH or Litecoin. So easy to use but still has a lot of scammers that's why it is annoying sometimes. At the end, bitcoin is still the best.

a person loses interest in cryptocurrency if there is a huge loss or a huge amount of bitcoin loss that creates a sense of laziness against cryptocurrency and loses interest, but very few lose interest with bitcoin because many get a profit.

In at least ten years, the bitcoin will develop. Of course, one thing will always be replaced by another, which is the law of natural development. Maybe many years later, there will be a new technological revolution. There will be no need to encrypt money, or a new coin will replace bitcoin many years later. Everything is possible.
