You are right, the same goes for TripAdvisor! The only thing that makes tripadvisor reliable is the number of users, the more people and more reviews are made the more the information is reliable. The same would be for Repu!

Yes, also TripAdvisor's system is very open to fraud.

I would prefer something like imdb. Solid voting and not very possible to cheat. But they are both very different thing than social rating.

I prefer a system like IMDB too, system of TripAdvisor is not good, I can understand that from my city and the others visited by me / friends told me.
In my city a below average restaurant/ hotel got very good numbers, I am sure we can enhance these examples. REPU should prevent any fake rating or comments in the system.

Yep, TripAdvisor don't seem to be a legit comparison here. I am not even sure if there is a plattform which could be a real comparison to REPU so far.

Yes. Just putting something on blockchain doesn't suddenly solve all the issues suffered by its non-blockchain competitors. Repu team has (obviously/hopefully ) thought through these problems thoroughly and come up with some good ways to solve/minimise these issues.

For me , its the review verification, security is already like a common thing.

They will release a closed beta testing of the platform among ICO in 2-nd quarter, but only with participants. And after that a public testing of the beta version of the platform.

Just because something is on the blockchain doesn't make it instantly secure. It helps A LOT, but it needs additional security features

I think this kind of platform is very easy to develope. It's like a rank or reputation system in social platforms a d forums. Just integrating that points in the blockchain . Maybe smart rep is a different concept . Never until we see it .. good luck to project
