Yeah, I have averaged only 0.018/mh/day for the past 19 days, what a ripoff!  Grin

Trouble is though matey, Not everyone has seen that amount, In fact I would say most are a lot less than that.

i track my btc/d/mh every day, and keep a running 5 day average.

right now my 5 day average is ~.0095

I'd say that's a lot closer to what I've had.

the reason your hashrate reported by middlecoin swings so much is because of the 1024 diff.

Be nice if it swung the other way instead for a change  Cool

So if it was changed back we would see the stats report properly ?

there will be less variation if the diff is put back to 512, but the best solution is VARDIFF, but im pretty sure h2o wont due that because of the load it puts on the server.

Are there any pools like Middlecoin with VARDIFF ? If so how are they managing with the load ?

You can try Hashcows or Wafflepool... I prefer Hashcows as my backup to Middlecoin.  Wafflepool gave horrible returns the 3 times I've tested it.

Well, "matey," the rate of return varies all the time.  This last week, my average is about 0.011.  That's how this game goes, some days are up, some are down.  Bitching and moaning about it won't change it.

Today, BTC dropped to its lowest level since the big crash, that means ALL coins are going to be down considerably today.  However, it promises that in the near term, growth opportunities will abound.

The daily returns are only marginally important, it's the overall average that wins the day.

Doge is up actually.

Isn't that what Middlecoin has been mining the most anyway?

Payouts are getting worse day by day. Since there is autoredirection to the nearest server my profits barely move. I guess its time to leave middlecoin too. For now.

I switched to http://wafflepool.com and i have not looked back.

much better?

There is still no stability yet.
If the profit goes down people have the right leaving, also the right saying they left.

I am sure most people wanna stay if the communication would be better by H20, i think he is a stereotype computernerd who is not so good in communication, but you can organize your shortcomings.
He's traying and it's getting better, so keep the good work up etc...

Sometimes normal constructice talk is typified as wining and that is annoying me, some people don't have the skills or the knowledge of the english language or for writting poems, my problem also (-;
Lets keep this topic constructive and ignore when you irritated by "whining" let them talk.

Good points; what people haven't acknowledged is that overall (long term here) the stability and operation of the pool HAS gotten better.

The different servers around the world have been implemented. H20 HAS done things to decrease server load (higher difficulties). H20 HAS communicated (via Freenode and Twitter). We have seen (via other posts from forum members) that profitability on the servers have evened out.

So, given that history, do you really think that H20 won't fix the problems on the servers dropping?

People vote with their hashrates, as another commenter mentioned. But I'd also hope that people consider where this pool was even earlier this week compared to now.

Hard to tell; I'd say yes but that is the whole point of Middlepool; keep the coin being mined a secret.

So you are saying yesterday's wafflepool payment (0.00910775 BTC / 1MH ) was better than middlecoin's? Or the average? Or....  Grin

0.09 BTC/1 MH/s is pretty low; http://www.clevermining.com/ is better than that.

So many people hawking wafflepool.com and http://www.clevermining.com/ is so much better.

If you WERE going to leave middlecoin I'd go there.

Or both, for failover and redundancy.  I have my cgminer.conf set to send 30% each to Middlecoin East and West, 20% to Wafflepool, and 20% to Clevermining.

Which should ensure that no miner ever sits around waiting for work, two pools can simultaneously drop off the net without affecting more than a day's profits, etc.

Hardware stable and auto-healing: check.  Redundant pools: check.  Ongoing work: verifying deposits every couple days.  *feet up* *beer in hand*.

OK clever clogs.  Before you get drunk, what's the average payout vs. just straight middlecoin?

No, I want the pool to be 100% stable. It's plenty big enough to work now, adding tons of little miners who don't have 50MH each just causes a lot of server traffic.
As the owner of a brick-and-mortar company that does work for businesses, as opposed to individuals, and mostly decent-sized corporations, there is something to this big miner vs small miner thing.

If I were to start a pool, honestly, I'd probably design it to attract larger miners (10MH+) and discourage smaller ones.  Providing support to a small number of large customers is SO much easier and more lucrative than a ton of small ones.

Dog is down. Cat is up (quite a lot at the moment).

I haven't done the math it'd take to really say "I made $x more or less load-balancing."  Just eyeballing it, they're all in the same ballpark, all have fairly frequent technical problems, are all unpredictable over short periods of time.  And, oddly, do NOT necessarily move in lockstep... presumably because of the highly variable lag between receiving a cgminer share and converting it to confirmed Bitcoins.

I just got tired of trying to figure out who was best and figured "Together they'll all average X BTC/Mh/day, keep all my miners busy all the time, and besides I have other shit to do."

3/4 of normal speed. I'm loosing 10 MH/s. Shit. All Rigs are ok.
Pointed to middlecoin.com for best server choose. I think it's EU.

Ps>I think h2o soon will lost all miners with this kind of beta testing on is. -(
i have the same problem, should be on ~11mh/s, on about 8mh/s, all rigs ok, and on the eu server. where's tealover?

if you are not being sarcastic then
hashrate on site is a estimate based on how many shares you submit per min or hour. Submitted shares vary. I mine at 290khash/s but it shows anything between 180-390 khash/s.
