Why do the unexchanged coins scare you? I love the payouts s that follow those.
...if the payouts happen. If unexchanged balance just grows over time, you're not getting paid accordingly. Has your fear ever been realized here? Except for the occasional server problem, has there ever been a failure to convert the unexchanged to exchanged? There have been frequent occasions when the unexchanged built up during the day, but somehow, we all manage to muddle through and, at the end of the day, get paid. Stop buying problems where there are none. Everything will be just fine. Never in the past has middlecoin been so big. Never have I had more than a day's production unexchanged. Past performance is no indication of future behaviour. It doesn't help you to close your eyes, stick your fingers in your ears and say "nononono I can't hear you, everything is fine". "But, but, but, you never know, someday it could happen." Okay, Chicken Little, you just keep worrying for all the rest of us sane folks. Talk about a waste of time and energy . . . worrying about something--which has NEVER happened--suddenly happening.

You sound like the AGW alarmists all up in arms over something that has happened repeatedly over the last several hundred million years, happening again.
Nice way to prove your point that discussion, dragging in a heated topic like global warming.. And then siding with the deniers Btw, did you know a denier is a unit of linear mass density of fibers? Thank you random internet person!

my vote is => big unexchanged balance is DOGE and h2o holding it til prices rising
if there would be an option then i would let more unexchangeds with up to 7 day/payout for more profit
just a simple note: DOGE have 55GHs atm.. LTC 114 GHs figure out whats coming

Anubite, Please just TRY playing with your configuration. Your image is completely irrelevant. This rig is running 3 little 7850's. This rig hasn't been touched since the switch, and it is running fine. You're blaming the pool when it OBVIOUS there is something wrong with your rig. And just to be curious, are you really trying to blame the pool on stats from what, an hour?!?! Well, I can tell you my "rig" (o poor excuse of a rig) was doing "well" before de diff increased to 1024. I was getting around 0.8-0.9 shares per minute on a 7850-5770 setup using cgminer through CGWatcher. I'm now making 0.5-0.6 and I've changed nothing. My WU went from 500-505/m down to 450/m. I set CGWatcher to restart the miner if there are no shares submitted for 10 minutes. It never restarted before the increase, now it does so 4 to 5 times a day. Not complaining, though, I understand it was a necessary step to take, but I can see where Anubite is coming from. Lower hashpower rigs are indeed suffering. Then you are doing pretty darn good if you ask me! Your average to an accepted share should have doubled, but it did not! The VALUE of each of those shares did value though. They used to be worth 512, now they are worth 1024. So for 10 minutes at 512 you were getting 4,096 (* .08 per min) and now at 1024 you are getting 5,120 (* .05 per min). Obviously those number are merely estimates based on your estimates and not including luck or anything else. They do point out one aspect that so many people seem to be missing. The fact that an accepted share is now worth double what it used to be.

I've only been mining here for 35 days but from what i've seen, unexchanged goes up, goes up a bit more, everyone shits their pants then it all gets exchanged and everyone is happy. Rinse. Repeat.

I have been reading this thread for a while and i understand what you mean, People do jump to conclusions, But what do you think the reason is for so many flat lines lately ? I mean, It seems to me everytime the site backs up with a lot of unexchanged coins the stats get switched off , Any ideas why? By the way I'm not complaining because the pool has been paying me well since i started using it.

F- me with an umbrella... I didn't look at it that way, you are right my last mining session is 3hrs and 20 min. and so far I've got 108 shares worth 110592 (0.54 spm). Not brilliant, but I've been extremely lucky with rejects: none for the whole session mining at eu.middlecoin.com

There's been flat lines lately because we're got over 15Gh/s worth of users generating a lot of database transactions, and the statistical software (apparently) doesn't scale too well with that. It also usually happens while h2o is sleeping, he is still somewhat human, so he needs a few hours of shut eye every night. During the day he is monitoring the pool software and can catch problems before they start.

It's been said many times that uswest (middlecoin.com) is less profitable than useast. I can only assume that means it is also less profitable than eu since eu and useast are both supposed to be running the new beta software (while uswest is running the older). Try making eu or useast your primary based on latency.
That's one of your problems right there. Don't use the old main middlecoin.com as your primary. It (and USWest which is currently identical) is on old code that's been less efficient than what's on the new beta servers. H2o has plans to update that one too and have Middlecoin.com be a front for all the regional servers that will give you the best location for your relative latency, but this hasn't been implemented yet, so for now if you want best returns, you should connect to the beta server closer to you.
Try setting your cgminer to the EU, USEast, or Asia beta servers with whichever server gives you the best sustained ping (lookout for spikes over a minute or so pinging) as the primary.
From where do you guys get the idea that uswest/middlecoin.com would be running older code? Nothing of that sort has been said. It's not running older code, it's running the exactly same code. The other servers are beta because they're not 100% stable, hence the servers themselves are beta, not the code they are running. I'm basing it on one of H20's last posts here... The US server now has the new code, which doesn't disconnect on coin switches. It's bugged to have 1% extra rejects, which show up as "duplicate shares".
Of course that could also mean he subsequently pushed that code to the the non-beta server too...but why do that if he was going to replace middlecoin.com with the front-server that would switch you to your regional server eventually anyway. I know I wouldn't change the existing stable server until all the beta's are done and then I would update it. But you're right, that part is definitely an assumption. H20 hasn't said either way. But USEast (and EU and Asia) are definitely on a new and different codebase than what was there in December.

These should be non-issues. He's making between $3,000-$6,000 PER DAY
