Yes, this is mostly so, but in January of this year ethereum did not follow bitcoin, it grew regardless of bitcoin. I like bitcoin and I have bitcoin coins in my wallet, but it seems to me that only one coin can catch up with bitcoins. This is ethereum.

I agree, it is actually very difficult to suggest something better than bitcoin. No wonder this crypto currency is called digital gold. While ethereum got closer to the cost of bitcoin, it will not replace bitcoin, because they are completely different for the purpose of crypto currency.
