I have GoByte and Ethereum in my top.
ETH has fallen like the whole market, so I think it's quite promising to invest in it now. It remains the top platform for the ICOs and will be in demand for a long time.

But, the fact that this coin has precedents of use in the real economy and they are developing in this direction is an important factor: it gives confidence that the coin will not collapse or disappear.

If you no need to money for urgent things is better don't rush to sell your asset. 
This time hold is better,  because I'm sure the price of bitcoin will surely recovery one day. This time we need just be patient. So hold is good in this time.

almost all Altcoins are down, current market conditions are still unstable, often going up and down. I think in running Cryptocurrency we must be patient and draw conclusions in a good way and should not panic and rush.

That's sad OP and it can be depressing to see the coins you have been holding for some time that you sold before pump and it then began to pump after you sold. It will look as if the coin has been waiting for you to sell your bag before it starts the pump. Well everyone including me makes this mistake too. We sell at the wrong time and also buy at the wrong time. It all boils down to not having enough capital for buying other new coins.

To hodl is a very difficult thing to do, but in the end it will be worth it. For investments to truly boom there will likely be huge dips before so unless you buy in right at the bottom it's likely you will see dips before the big increase. Strong hands get the rewards!

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

Try to keep at least 20% of the coins that you have for at least 1-2months. That way if it pumps, you still have something to sell.
I normally keep at least 10% of the coin for long hold but will have to ensure as well that 10% is already profit so I don't have to worry much if the price falls.

If you close your trade with profit there is nothing to be regret. Subsequent wisdom has no value in trading. You have to go for the next successful trade instead of blaming yourself what would be if ....

The investors that held bitcoin in the last  five years or more sold last year december and the value of what they sold were in Billions of dollars. Had these people not hold there bitcoin, the value of bitcoin might not have rose the way it did!

I think you might be right. If not for Bitcoin holders who sold later, we wouldn’t hear about Bitcoin and it costing so much. It gave us hope that it could happen again.

That is not true because there is a lot of coins that can go higher than double their current value.
