The market sure is waking up if you're in btc. For alts is a bloodbath though. Reminds me of the autumn of last year. The alts were getting heavily rekt while the btc dominance rose skigh high. And after that.. Boom! Alt season commenced and everyone became rich as ****. Let's see how it plays out this time.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Holding ones coins is much better than dumping and regret.... Holding for as long as it takes avails one the opportunity to make up for the failed project or shitcoin invested in

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL.  Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time.  I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community. making decisions in panic will jeve fhelp you and i believe that you should know that and control your emotions |

And how about the new coins? is it worth it to hodl them, what if the price fall and never comes up. Losing money is not the first option that I will choose. Anyone could give suggestion?

Yes, it is better to keep the coins for a few years, but do not miss the opportunity to sell them at the peak of prices and then buy back.

I'm down 45-50% on original investments, but I am actually feeling okay as I have DCA'ed the whole way down, and I have moved around funds so that my key holds are in projects I believe in.

For me it is true that holding is very important strategy because holding our coin for long term can help us to make a lot of money and we should consider to hold for long term because the prices of all the coin that have a future can really grow on the right time. |

Regret is useless. No one knows where the price is going for sure. You made your decision. You are in profit so why regret. Be happy for the profit and find another chance to get more of it.

On this occasion, I will give you very valuable advice. If you are 100% sure of the project, then you must buy a coin and forget about it for a couple of years. If the idea of the project is really innovative, then the coin will bring you a glorious profit.

HODL of coins is a very good decision, but the confusion comes in as to when is the right time to sell the coins. You can sell then it will just rise up after a few days. An advice is to HODL your coins especially the good ones for a long time.

I think that keeping in the long term is a good choice if you are confident in a coin or a token. I plan to take the Ethereum for at least a year.
