thank you for sharing your story. it is same with me like XRB (raiblock) I used to have 2000 XRB price 1000-2000 satoshi and that time I also really need capital for trading other coins. and I sell at 2000 satoshi price because I see the development of XRB when it's normal .in a few months it remains that way and but it's been wanted year-end mid november the coin goes up to 70% and the end of the year 170% goes up my wah i'm so crazy i can get more profit if i keep hold. but if it's destiny to do again? I think it's not my livelihood. but I can learn that there is better to hold if the price of the coin is still cheap and the community is still active and growing ascertained next time will surely repeat the old story like XRB so I am true HOLD. if haga is suitable for sale yes I sell it i want to share my experience also with all of you

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Everyone chooses his strategy, you can not say for sure that buying for a long time is the best way out.

Holding is not easy as you think. When times like these when the prices are so low you started to panic and fear that the price won't go up again. Those with less experience and weak hearted will fall for their fear and sell there holdings which result to regrets when the price goes up again. Instead of sulking over your loss, take this experience and learn from it so the next time you will know what to do.

All mistakes are made in money, so you should learn to analyze the situation, and update market developments, we should leave the concept of hold to die, which we need to follow closely to make the decision. best for yourself.

One of my strategies before when it comes to trading is that I master the art of trading/buying to the opposite coin that my mind thought will going to lose. Because I realized that most of the time, my trading decisions were wrong - so might as well don't follow my own instinct. It works for me but I don't know if it will the same to you though - trade safely.

Not every coin is worth holding. Some will just become worthless no matter the time you hold it for. In crypto learn, be patient and go with your guts and never regret. It's good to set a target for yourself or else you'd hold your investments forever..lol

Yeah sure, it is good to hodl good coins even when the price is down just keep holding. So anytime you want to invest into any coin, take some time and do a research to learn about the project and see if you like their mission and vision.

Right now we are having those coins that are good to hold and if you sell them you would regret for eternity about that

Holding is clear not always at the good momentum for there are times that holdings your coins will make you poor. Everything will be wasted because your effort become worthless as the value comes to deep crash and seems will never recover anymore. Learnings is another good teacher to give us direction to another path to follow.

yep, we are all forbidden to panic
very many people who have weak hands, are easily provoked with news from the media, so they panic and sell assets at cheaper prices
and finally they regret, but the market will recover in some time ahead

It is better to hodl on some altcoins since bitcoin is not fiat money and it's price changes from time to time, so it is better to hodl until you earn a certain profit before you sell it.

HODLing will always be the best move in trading. The longer you wait, the better chances you have at selling your tokens or coins is the pumping period. Just move on and always think that you atleast gained something from your hardwork.

Depending always on your capacity, if you can wait for long term, you can always hold because it has proven to be profitable.
For me, I hold and trade at the same time and actually it's not easy because you need to spend time to monitor this volatile market so you can do the right move.

Bah nonsense, I don´t need to hodl because I can buy again whenever I want, so I will just wait for the market to reach the bottom. You hodl and have fun doing it. I will be around to catch the good fish. Smiley Smiley

you strategy is good but at the end of the day, what should prevail in terms of whether or not you are holding or not is that where you are most comfortable with. When you find profit and is happy with your current strategies, that is really a good news! However, your set of strategies may not be working on others.

For me, I preferred to hold my tokens that have potential to hit the  higher value. Make sure the tokens you hold has an active community and good project for the future purposes. Because i may be regret if i sell my tokens early that can give more profits or income.

It depends a lot too, if you decide to hold shitcoins you are not gonna make a single dollar out of them because they will go to the floor as soon as they get dumped by the bounty hunters /airdrop hunters / team.

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.
Obviously this is the matter of learning and this experience of yours is such a great lesson for all of us. I am the type of person who believes in holding my coins, because according to my thinking that patience also brings rewards. There are many people who are in against of people and continue to warn others to sell their crypto coins because in the end all will reduce to zero. For this all I want to say is that this is the time of deflation for all most all crypto currencies, so holding is the best way to get your profit.

Now the market is such that it is better to get out of the coin by stop loss than to crash by 50-100%. It is better to hold only in the rising market, move the stop loss higher and higher in profit!
