Actually, the truth is that, their is no perfect strategy. You can buy and hold and the value would reduce drastically. No one knows. Thats why it is best to research and invest into a coin you wish to invest accordingly.

I think that all believers should hodl but they should get some patience as well, 1 year is not a long time for investments and everybody should just wait until situation will be a little more clear...

I regret that I did not sell the coins at very high prices. I kept them in the hope that the market would go up. But that was my mistake. This means that not always the long-term storage strategy brings profit.

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

I'm very sure that by now you will be more happier buying xvg then at a cheaper rate,  that's some of the power of holding,  it pays to hold a solid project coin for a long time,  the return will be enormous

before taking action, we must do research first, study the coins that we hold, find information, what projects ahead of the coin. so that disappointment does not come for the second time

I think that you need to use the full present chance to buy coins at a cheap price. You really need to study the market and choose more favorable for this project.

Is of two way which hodl works, when you get in when very low and when you bought when it was high , so if is the first one which is early enough it will only take some time to get profit but when you get in when high then you have to wait for it dip to see another bull run and that might take longer than getting in when low, some sell in lost and later regret , so put little first and when it move your direction you get more.

This is because they understood the risks that they will be facing from the very start they jumped in for the ride. Regret is part of the game. And as you have mentioned, you have no choice but to learn from your mistake and move on.

I think this time is a hodl time. How can you sell your actions to lose drastically. We need not to sell all coins but to hold and enjoy the benefit in the coming months.

if you know that the coin that you are holding has a big potential in the cryptomarket, you should be patient to hold for long because if you are impatient, you will really regret it in the end. That's how cryptocurrency works, if you are going to invest just be patient to wait and see what will happen

It seems to me that it's too late to take it. I'm sure that the price of bitcoin will not fall below $ 5,000, because this is the lower threshold of the cost recovery for supporting the miners. And to sell now in the hope to buy then cheaper is not worth too much risk!

Do not regret the lost profit.Be glad you didn't lose your money. You will never know where the top is.Many people are waiting for the bottom of the market, but in the end remain outside the market. If you have made a profit, it is better to fix.

Prices of cryptocurrency are still very low and nobody should sell them now. Do not doubt, by the new year the market of cryptocurrencies will rise by 50-100% and, to not regret about the missed opportunity, today's situation should be considered as a great opportunity to buy bitcoin and altcoins at a low price.

Ah, I feel so nostalgic reading the posts dated December 2017 - everybody was so sure about their investments and didn't even expect the crash we are currently witnessing.
Anyway, now we all have nothing to do but to hold (it is still unclear for how many months) and wait for the market recovery.

I believe hodling long term is the best strategy. Hodling is the best option when it comes to cryptocurrencies. I believe we should have a strategy with each project we buy into. We should buy coins which have a great idea for everyday usage, great roadmap and team. Hodling these kind of projects will give us the great ROI we deserve. But, alternatively we can trade everyday and increase our investments with a little pump.

I used to be able to invest in any coin. Now I have regret for allegedly promising projects that are stuck in the lower price range, as if there was an ordinary pump, but there were no technologies.

Every mistake is a good lesson in our life. I believe you can get a better profit this time. Just cheer up because I think everyone has similar experiences, whether they're novices or experience traders.
