It is better to hold to prevent regret. My experience was a decision i've made a big mistake to result a regret, because my first token reward i get from bounty was happen to be sell immediately in a price were i taught it was good enough, but only a week after the price was rapidly increase that supposed to be i have it a huge amount to be but already sold out. So lesson to learn for me on that experience i was before.

Well, I think it also depends on what coin or token you are holding as some have already lost their luster and can soon be entering into their own oblivion or natural death Holding is good with top cryptocurrencies and maybe selected tokens but in my experience hodling on to many alts can be disastrous. Trading remains to be the most profitable thing to do in the world of cryptocurrency but then again this can also be risky and if one is not prepared or suited to this whole thing then it can also be disastrous. As of now, am only holding to my Bitcoin, Ethereum, BitcoinCash and some selected alts which in my analysis can be worth the wait. Good luck to all of us then.

i like to hold and sale when i have come close to the goal.every holding for me has  a  goal and it budget. i could remember i coin i had so much regret in .docademic  sold and after 2 weeks prize went  up 15times what i sold i felt like crying . we all learn

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

seriously hodl does not work all of the time there are moments when you need to hold your alt for good and then just sell them for the good and for your desired profits

In my opinion, it doesn't matter you are a holder or fast trader, I think you should always learn more about crypto. And also, if you want to make better profits, you should always listen the experiences of the traders.

it has been proven several times that when the price goes down, there is no other way but to go back up again. That is really true but just be very vigilant, what appears to be a good price could lead to nothing - this happens when exchanges no longer accept certain altcoin and could no longer be possible to trade and earn.
