yeah, i think ETH is the best altcoin too, but i dont think that it has chance to overtake BTC, because BTC is the best crypto among the rest and for me the future of BTC is more bright over than ETH.

In the history of cryptocurrency, no Altcoin or any cryptocurrency have succeeded in overthrown bitcoin. Bitcoin as it were is still the leader of cryptocurrency. Ethereum has been promising especially with it's smart contract capacity. The future is bright for cryptocurrency in general.

I agree with you. But it is possible to overthrow bitcoin as I observed most of ICOs are using ETH so it might really become famous and overthrow bitcoin gradually. |

I do not believe in that. Your assumption is wrong. The etherium will not be the coin number one. Bitcoin has more prospects. So you should not rush to sell bitcoin |

Ethereum seemed like the best alternative and promising coin compared to bitcoin before, however, it looks like it has become same old currency like bitcoin. yes they are both powerful but there are lots of promising and easy transferable coins out there.

My personal opinion is about Ethereum is never going to take over Bitcoin. Bitcoin will always remain the main coin because the majority of people knows and invested in Bitcoin comparing to Ethereum which is known by only investors and traders. |

When more or most mainstream merchants in large number begin to accept it as medium for exchange of goods and services not when it is only used in ICO's.

For my information and knowledge Ethereum will not overtake bitcoin and if the bitcoin value fall it is just the down fall in the bitcoin but it is not a permanent decline in bitcoin and no other coin will take the bitcoin place every coin is important for it's own importance and usage while mostly the big investors are also interested to hold bitcoin and they are making ling term strategies for this. So Ether is growing but it will not take place of the bitcoin the bitcoin is the head of every crypto coin. |

ETH might close the marketcap gap to BTC but it would take a major catastrophe to make ETH surpass BTC.
ETH will keep the second position for years to come but once it fully implements the PoS mechanism it might take off.
