1. 11 year old technology
2. 130nm chips will not mine at a profit within 5-8 months
3. 130nm chips coming online at the same time as 28nm chips from two other suppliers
4. 65nm chips due to be developed in 2014.... when 28nm chips are already on the market, as well as bulk 65nm chips
5. Not hashing until they can get their own hardware online (it took BFL 12+ months)
6. F*d up the IPO and pissed off potential investors before they even started....

remind me, why are people investing in this ipo?

I think BTC IPO's are a bubble... a massive massive bubble. The idea that people are prepared to buy this shit illustrates that fact completely.

At least yours has showed up.  I deposited well within time and confirmed within time.  However, my coins have not shown up.  Although there is a record and i am certain i will get them given to me eventually.

Try what I did:

Go to WITHDRAW the BTC, and put in some amount of BTC even if it says 0 max available.

After that is done your BTC might magically show up like mine did.

Yup, that worked.   I also wish i had figured out how to get around the bug in BTCT system in time to get in on the IPO!

I will refer to Burnside regarding specifics/technical questions reg the exchantge etc. I can now see the LABCOIN asset as 'locked'. I hope you all understand that as only assisting the issuer (Labcoin) I cannot personally change anything that has to do with BTCT.CO

What a ride. I have to hand it to burnside and the_swede, I think you guys made the right decision. It's not perfect and a bunch of people will be unhappy, but it was probably the fairest decision given the circumstances.

Swede, since you never fixed the time zone problem (EST to EDT) I think the asset should reopen.  This will also give people who had trouble with the wallet a chance.

So not only did I miss out on a great opportunity, I lost a ton of money too.

I made 2 TX; 15 min after each other, one cleared after 30min- the next was still not visible after 3hrs
following this instructions to make withdrawal of 0.001- pending amount is instantly visible
