Waves vs. Bitcoin

I do not subscribe to that idea Wawes can be compareable with Bitcoin. Those are too much different side of coins and their aspects, targets are really diversified. In that case comparing them will be faulty state for crypto world.

Waves simply a platform which has own DEX and tradable with other altcoins too however BTC is just pioneer of virtual moneys and cryptic money transactions. There is no special stuff for BTC's tech, yeah I know what I say. Unfortunately we can not talk about BTC's tech as how it was great cause it has no terrific abilities for now what according to other coins like Ethereum or Waves.

Then we can maybe compare with Ethereum vs Waves vs NEO etc. Although some views here, I can not see any point to versus of BTC to Waves

WAVES DEX isn't used much, even the TIDEX that they created solely for the WAVES token. Although WAVES can potentially be a good investment, it can't match even with ETH. I have read they are preparing for their Smart contract which could really be a good side of WAVES, if you have invested to waves earlier 2016, you must have been a great holder.

Waves have recently made better moves, and improved features from its utility, Performance. I'm researching and learning more about waves at this time. However, if any one compares altcoin to bitcoin, everything becomes limp. waves need to create more breakthroughs on their roadmap to increase market share on altcoin.

In spite of the fact that bitcoin isn't the best crypto innovation as there are such huge numbers of new cryptos out there with new highlights and advances, however I think it is improbable that supplanting bitcoins will work. The bitcoin network is so enormous so you can see that through a considerable measure of market vacillations, bitcoin still stands firm and dependably holds the primary spot on the coinmarketcap. I trust that the market will recoup soon and that is the chance of financial specialists this year.

With time, I think this bitcoin issue of "scalability" will be dealt with, although Waves is extremely fast, but not a match for BTC, BTC can be very frustrating when an urgent transaction is required, things are getting better now.

if comparing the development of waves with Bitcoin, I prefer bitcoin because I see Bitcoin has a fairly large transaction history with a large interest, for waves I think is still less developed when compared to Bitcoin

You think the waves are fast? That's funny. Last month BLOCK COLLIDER started mining. And the waves died because of the high load! And they were dead until the team BLOCK COLLIDER is not disabled mining.

Agree with you. It is really a time when everybody was suffering from BTC transaction fees and increasing transaction time, most of us really wanting the new coin or any blockchain to take lead over BTC to get rid of that suffering from BTC.

bitcoin if without substantial capital then regardless of putting resources into coins does not give incredible outcomes. for waves, it will give much benefit if the coins were given sufficiently high capital and can go up to a greater cost.

With the updates, we need Bitcoin at the top, due to its amount of marketing over its history, and transaction difficulty, high fees, makes the coin valuable. Regarding Waves has great potential to become great Therefore, but there is no currency that can replace Bitcoin, perhaps someday, in cultural value, but I believe it will be difficult.

Bitcoin will be replaced much sooner than we think unless they do something about the transactions. RIght now buying let´s say 100 USD of bitcoin and moving them to your wallet would result in a loss of nearly 50% of the value. I would have liked to gift some bitcoin to family, but instead I used Ethereum. Fees total: less than 1 USD.

Waves is an Altcoin with ever-increasing development. because indeed with the ever-increasing development will be able to make profits in the future is very good and make it ALTcoin very able to dependable future. so having Altcoin like Waves would be very profitable.

That's right, I just see people comparing ETH with BTC, and I never thought that other coins could compare to BTC. Waves is a potential coin but it will never be able to break through Bitcoin

I am a holder of both Bitcoin and Waves. In fact, I hold about 5 times as much BTC than Waves. Would love to hold much more of Waves, but until now I really love the idea of it and how it looks and feels, but as of yet, there is not a single Waves use that I've found for myself, so therefore, my expectations are still a little low.

Trading wise of Waves tokens, we've got Tidex and Waves DEX, but new centralized exchanges are coming up. That still won't give me what I'm looking for in Waves, but at least it'll get a bit more volume to test out its blockchain stress.

his name is also good stuff must be expensive hehe for example. yes indeed bitcoin is very expensive and now comes waves with the fastest blockchain. but I think to replace bitcoin is very difficult, however bitcoin is the king of all altcoin. definitely someday bitcoin will fix and improve the system so that users more comfortable.

Well, even if WAVES provides more speed than BTC, it may not be as valuable as BTC. I was an old fan of WAVES, but I did not like the way the team proceeds, so I took all my investment back (keeping tokens coming regularly, even some of the token names arejust ads, created by others  ).
