Who needs television for entertainment, this is fantastic Smiley

I too have coins that I might not see again. To me this is something we surely have to accept, without regulation this is always going to happen, with regulation it would just become a glorified paypal.

I am happy to wait patiently until I know one way or another if the coins will be returned. Most of my coins are in my wallets thankfully.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

not buy into any of this but where captain HuhHuh    I thought the role of them was to be the face and support for coin ex,   Now if this is the case why are they been so quiet here and no PR work from them?Huh

I just find it strange that all

Just further to above ya would think as a company/exchange that just had an issue you would have your face out there mixing with the masses to answer questions etc as a PR exercise ...   Does any one else find this odd  Huh?  The there been no word from captain in this mess when they were basically the front man for dealing with the public.

Because captain could have very well been just a fake persona created by Eru himself.  Who really knows...the entire crypto world is ran by a group of faceless individuals behind computer screens.  It's created/driven/manipulated by anons.  And you wonder why most serious investors on wallstreet say this market is a bubble just waiting to burst...

If the site is going to go live again. Do we get some time to delete some orders?

I got some sell orders wich are now way below market price and buys that are way above market price still on coinex.

If they just turn on the site and start trading imediatly i will get screwed again.

Give us 24 hours to get shit sorted, or delete all standing orders if the site ever goes live again.

I know a few people on 4chan that can get ahold of vital info and doxxing.  I'll give erun and his cronies til the end of this weekend to give a REAL update (not some damn 'our investigation needs more time') and some real evidence before I start elevating the hunt.

The Server is in NL,  but 50% of coinex.pw owner is an Austrian guy! (CAPTAINFUTURE)
From Vienna
It is very easy to find him out, the community for crypto in Austria is very small.

Another update.

Initial 24h timeframe was a bit too optimistic, we need more time to catch up.
While we're waiting for an answer from a few investors, we came up to another idea which could bring much more trust into the bitcoin community.

Long story short: an insurance company for Bitcoin-based services.

More will come soon, keep calm & carry on.

Thanks!
- erundook

Ok guys. Anyone with a functional brain can see that this guy is trying to buy some time to dispose off all the funds that were held by Coinex market exchange and will try to erase any trace that can get back to him.

Everyone knows that in these type of fraud schemes the more time people wait to take action to get back their investment the harder it becomes to get it back!!!

Some are already taking the initiative that is needed to trace this guy but action must take place to get this guy asap.

I don't want to take away any hopes from anyone that had funds in Coinex wallets but I am afraid that a full refund for everyone is going to hard to get from the parties involved.

Maybe some of the persons that are going to physically search this person/persons should they find him/them might get their funds back which I hope they can with a little bonus on the side if you get my drift. I would be happy just to know that!!!

By the way where are all the guys that were chatting at Coinex's trollbox chating now?

Best

I'm personally dealing with my own crap due to a small hack at AllCrypt.com today. So I dont have time to go in depth.

But the fact he has gone ghost is revolting. We had an issue today, some BTCS was lost, and we had a statement up, almost immediately. Just a while ago I posted a full explanation as to what happened (https://www.allcrypt.com/blog/2014/03/hack-update-2-what-the-hell-actually-happened/) and even say "Its our fault" and explain what the issue was.

And without giving out any details that may impair efforts - by showing full transparency, immediately, and posting details, we were contacted by someone who knows something that may help us recover the lost funds.

CoinEx gets hacked, and nothing.

Know what CoinEx? If you were honest, and posted what actually happened, maybe the funds could have been in some way recovered. Guess what? When someone steals MOON and SXC and these other alts - they are utterly worthless in the "real world" until someone turns them into BTC then sells them for cash or exchanges them for fiat at an exchange.

Know where they do that? On ANOTHER exchange. They cannot magically turn those other coins into money they can enjoy on a tropical island without exchanging them somewhere. Your wallets got emptied? Post it. Those of us who run other exchanges might just check our logs and see if any of the coins wound up on our site.

Or, you shut your accounts down, liquidate your BTC, and run for the hills.

AllCrypt.com was the victim of a small hack today. Our security worked and stopped it from being bad. All the details are on the blog at www.allcrypt.com/blog

When we go back up tomorrow, security will be tighter, and you'll know there's an exchange out there that isn't running and hiding.

This hide and run shit is really starting to piss me off.

Will you fucking stop spamming in this thread? Get fucking lost from here along with your shitty advertising.

I am losing patience. The more we talk and wait without even basic info or plan, somebody may decide to start doing something. Some things may be set in motion which will be impossible to stop.

i also mined there arround 1 month multipool scrypt with arround 1,5mhs, should be coins worth arround ~300$ compared to coinwarz mining profitability list. most of my coins were "shitcoins" tho  Wink, i cant believe, that all these small amounts of shitcoins were stolen. i guess coins like bit, lite, doge and maybe sex and earth will be stolen but the rest of the scrypt stuff i cant believe it got all stolen.

"presumption" of innocence, and that is only so people get a fair trial.

Has Coinex get any coins, what was taken, why are there deposits floating around in the blockchain, etc?

But point is we do not get any info. Our funds are hidden behind Maintenance mode quote and vague and unspecific statement.
There are real people behind all those coinex accounts.

I had a few thousand of each SHA coin on CoinEx, no BTC though. The whole bounty wasn't worth more then $50. I really feel sorry for the guys/gals that depended on the site for their day trading. Fingers crossed we all get our coins back, or the equivalent in BTC. Good luck guys, I have faith in CoinEx.

This is starting to get a bit ridiculous... the site in my sig went under an attack, had thorough explaination of what was happening, and they were back up and running within a few days, followed by intensive support for their users to make sure everything was correct.

Haven't seen anything from the owners except some shady remarks, that just makes me think they are hiding something.

Always trust your instincts.  I was about to pull everything off of CoinEX because it had been stagnant for a while.  No real significant movement in the market.   I had a premonition this shit was going to happen, but I actually have a job and shit(I don't scam people for a living) so I never got around to it until I get some time this wednesday.   I knew instantly I am fucked when the site is down.   I had about .7 BTC on there plus another 1 BTC worth of alt-coins (worth probably 3-4 BTC at peak prices).   I guess it should have been a bigger priority for me...

It was only a matter of time before the crypto-market bounced back, but now I don't even get a chance to wait and see how big I could have cashed all my coins in the next 6-12 months.  You assholes are also making the crypto-market look shady as hell, making it lose integrity and value.  Should have known these alt coins were just going to be an excuse to scam people.

If my gut is telling me what is really going on here, you lying scheming  two-faced thieving scoundrels can keep my coins.   The wrath and karma you will experience over the better part of your life won't even be worth all the money you have stolen.  I wouldn't want that on my conscience or my soul.  Enjoy your brief moment of freedom and pleasure while it last, because it is all going to come crashing down on you bigger than any tidal wave you could imagine.

When shit couldn't get any worse, and keeps getting worse, just remember how many people you fucked over here.

I don't even give a shit if they post another fake update.  Get the site back up and running, figure out the problem.  This should be your #1 priority.  For all I know you are gallivanting around spending all of our money, and/or playing video games.  If I was you I would be posting updates every 6 hours at the LEAST.   People like you are the only reason why the world sucks.
