Oh man, I could bite my ass. I totally missed the Gifcoin Bounty campaign. How could this happen to me? Luckily, the ICO was extended by 1 month, so I'll register right away. if anyone still wants to participate: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2821146.0

oh, i just see every campaign is closed. does anyone have any information whether the bounty campaigns for the extension month are also extended?

I am concerned that it will be difficult for the team to develop the project in an unstable market.. And a lot of competitors in the field of gambling.

I don't think the gambling market is unstable, yea it may be competitive but we all know that most niche are, if not all are pretty competitive, is all about what a project has to offer that will give them an edge over others, in this case, Gifcoin is the first decentralized gambling platform that i know, unless there are others which i don't know of, so they do have an advantage in the market

I don't know why you think the market is unstable. The Gifcoin project has reached the softcap  some weeks ago, they updated the new website and released Buff88 earlier than announced in the whitepaper. They have now a better design and accept crypto payments.

Not sure if he/she is referring to the gambling market or the cryptocurrency market but whichever one the individual is referring, it all bores down to one thing, the team behind the project and both market are known for there profitability, Gifcoin has basically raised the substantial capital needed to start, the cryptocurrency market is becoming vibrant and the gambling market has been very profitable based on research, so i can't actually pinpoint the fear

Also, they don't plan to be listed on exchanges until the first dividends will be paid( December), so when they get listed the price of the coin will have a bigger price, as everyone will see how big the dividends will be.

Everyone will never be happy regardless of how they handled it, even if they did make a dozen announcements about the extension i think people would still complain, in the end you just cant appease everyone, i do think they could have handled the extension better, but i think the teams doing the best they can with the information they have to make the project work.

I believe they did extend ICO due to the crypto market crashing and impacting the raisings. But with the new website, i'm confident that hardcap will be hit for sure

I wouldn't say that the extension of the ICO is a mistake. The GIFcoin Team want to sell more Token and if there is a chance to reach the hardcap, they should do it. I'm very confident that the hardcap will be reached before the end of the ICO.

Buff88 website looks like professional with whole lot of graphics. Definitely very catch and attractive. Their userbase is already huge. With this new setting, they will hit the next milestone for sure.

Yeah, the problem will be for people who don't have patience and want to sell fast for a quick buck. For me personally it wouldn't be a problem if they decide to get listed after they pay the dividends in December as long as the dividend payment will be a big one.

Yeah, the problem will be for people who don't have patience and want to sell fast for a quick buck. For me personally it wouldn't be a problem if they decide to get listed after they pay the dividends in December as long as the dividend payment will be a big one.

Thing you have to remember is there is exchanges like Etherdelta that you can trade based on the contract address, I planned on holding for dividends anyway, but I can see why alot of people would be annoyed with that decision.

I agree with you, it won't go down well with some but again, is all for the benefit of the project, if you look at the duration, is not that much, personally i think it will be best for me to wait for like 6 months and hit a massive jackpot than wait for years before the price becomes reasonable after massive dumping that may likely come from some investors after instant listing

It does because you can see pop-ups when people are buying and you also have a progress bar but they need to update that more frequently.
