One should take all precautionary measures to save oneself from hackers. You should use a PC with good antivirus so that it can keep away all the malware, use safe browsers, always double check the website you visit especially websites like myetherwallet, etc., so that you don't land up putting your private key on the fake website, using offline wallet or physical wallet is another good idea to keep your funds safe.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Most hacks aren't really hacks since they just mean you clicked on something you shouldn't have clicked on. Exchanges get hacked. Users click on phishing links.

If you:

-never click on links in emails, private messages etc.
-always double check urls in your address bar
-enable 2 factor for all your accounts

You are safer than most.

Things you plan on holding have no reason to be on your PC. Android devices are unfit for storing large amounts of crypto.

Im afraid to be hacked that is why im being more careful in clicking some links entering what ever sites. So many chances that our account could be hacked downloading some untrusted stuff but its in us if we are more careful hackers cannot easily hack our wallets I always ask from some experts when making transactions and reading some directions for safetiness.
I personally suppose that most of us all afraid of hacker. Some people have their asset even a huge assets in their own coin, if they are scammed, they may be very disappointed. I’ve known some people who loss all due to hacker, they are frustrated and don’t want to invest any coins. With the develop of technology, hacker can steal our account easily. If you are not lucky, you may be scammed. Therefore, you should be careful in many way. Most importantly, if you are cheated, don’t worry too much, you have many chances to start again.

We must adhere to the elementary rules how not to become a target for hackers. We can protect ourselves from them if we are careful!

yes of course we do not need to be afraid of hackers, long as we spread our personal data and browse the internet in a safe way, hackers can not reach the assets we have, essentially protection from ourselves, if our assets can still be hacked possibly from mistakes or our own carelessness

Not afraid, but I know that I need to be protected from them, so:
 - use 1 device for exchanges and bank accounts;
 - hold your login date on flash cards or better on piece of paper, and of course in 3 copies minimum;
 - create 2 emails for exchanges and banks, separate from other stuff, like mailing, social medias, so your emails will not pop-up in wrong place.
These three easy rules will protect you from hackers.

You are right, the hackers can not steal your coins if you keep your keys secretly, so we should be very carefully when operating with the account or keys.

Everyone must be afraid of something that harms himself. Especially if you lose something very valuable. Best possible, internet users must protect the computer and search on the internet with a well-known antivirus good and always clean up the search history when finished using the internet. As technology evolves, hackers grow to steal all the bitcoins in their holders. We must be careful, do not hold bitcoin in large quantities, invest a little. Always keep private key bitcoin in a safe place.

i bought 10k of a coin to run a mn at roughly 40c each, few days later the coined mooned to 20x (now steady at 10x) my buy in price, now im scared to even start the wallet on my pc to stake them never mind set up the mn

Im taking a break to educate myself more about pc security etc before i do anything with them, while at the same time im losing about $70 a day passive income due to not running the mn somehow someone needs to come up with a better solution to the security of the coins as crypto has zero chance of going mainstream if everyone who holds coins has also got to be a cyber security exppert as well!

This is the best thing to do! Yeah, losing $70 a day passive income is frustrating, but it`s better to take your time - find out as much information as you can and only then take an educated decision. My advice to you is to buy a new computer just to open this wallet, you can find cheap ones at $200 (having Windows 10 already installed).

Clearly you should be afraid of hackers because they are really very dangerous and you could lose all of your anytime with just a nick of time by the very capable hackers. To protect yourself from them you should ensure that you have a strong encrypted password in your wallet and make sure that your private keys is not easily accessible by them. I would also recommend to use safe browsing sites like if there are advertisements popping up then you should stop using it first and make sure that there are no vulnerability in your computer.

This only shows that our coins are all safe,  the recorded data showed that it is nearly impossible to hack wallets. It should be a warning for every user to really secure their private key, because it is the most important information you have. There is no denying that more people are bitcoin because of the security it is offering. But we cannot neglect the fact that we might loss coins, personally I store my coins into different wallets this reduces the risk of lossing.

It's the reality that this computer technology we all have to face and live on....we can't really control them if they want to hack us or steal our bitcoin but atleast we can minimized the damaged they can do to us by protecting our computer or storing our BTC in an offline wallet.By having a good antivirus and opening site you don't trust we can somehow protect our pc and our self and then avoid holding large amount of coins in online wallet specially on trading platform will somehow minimized the risk of being hack.

So if you want to not emcounter a hacker you must have a strong password. Antivirus and don't open an not safe site

Of course, I scared, hackers are synonymous with mystery to a lot of people, including myself, and people who own digital currency are always worried that one day the coins in their wallets are suddenly transferred away. So, never reveal your key, never.

Normal people surely scared in hackers. Of course, it will get all of your precious information together with your money whether it is in the bank or online wallets.
All people always want to secure their online wallet accounts, afraid of losing it all. Howerver, we can prevent being hacked by not just clicking phishing links, and by not submitting
credentials to unknown forms or websites.
