At the moment it is necessary to be extremely careful with roguish ICO. There were also many clones of the real companies. If you though are interested a little in that company in which you participate it won't be difficult to distinguish the real company from swindlers.

Help us blacklist bounty manager who are trying to make a quick buck by working with any shitty coins that will take them. Bounty manager are supposed to research good coins and be good at it. No scam bounty managers will survive in long run hopefully.

first of all mate reading is a must. you can choose bounty ICO's to join or invest by knowing there products. for me good project has a good team leaders, active in all aspects. the project must have an roadmap that we know if what is there plan in the future and also had an good product that can be attractive to people. if you been incounter some ICO turned into a scam, you connot do anything about that. sometime ICO failed to launch because they didn't reach the softcap to operate there project and turn into a scam. if you are an investor for that project, the project manager must return your investment. try to give them an private massage so that they will know.

I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?
as a beginner I understand if you are wondering how to distinguish an honest project and a fraud project. therefore you should have an experienced bounty hunter companion to choose a promising project for you to follow

if you have already become a client of such a company, then it's a sad experience and a lesson that every company needs to study and read about the company, to look at the social network of the team where it moves

I think if you read carefully the forum, then you will understand that the methods how to detect fraud has long been invented! Although now it does not help much, as a lot of projects are just too weak.

It is best to report to the bitcointalk support team that they will soon have a solution to stop fake projects. Also, you can let all your friends stay away from this project

Due to current market situation, people are afraid and nobody know what will happen. So people are more cautious with investments in ICO.

As of now, I believe there's no governing those unethical acts. We don't have anything to do but to just to avoid them. As of now there's a company called cryptoPolice they are planning to police the crypto world. I hope they will be successful both in ICO and Implementation.

I would advice you to do more research next time before joining any bounty. Study the project and take part in projects that already have working products as the risk in this is minimal. Better luck next time.

In some cases, the unmanaged environment is creating some negative point for the crypto community and the blockchain industry. That is "abuse" ico to achieve their own goals. Scam bounties also derive from this abuse. In fact, to find a bounty campaign is high quality and reputation is not easy. It takes a long time to monitor.

It is hard to identify whether an ico is a scum because most likely those ico that would not reach the market and is not earning can be considered as scum as well. This is very bad for bounty hunters because they cannot return tour time not like with the inventor where they can return the money invested. Best tip is to follow a good manager or if you can't tell a good team better join the bountyhive which will help you choose a legit campaign.

Collect as much information as possible about the ICO. Of course, this will not give an absolute guarantee, because even multimillion ICOs eventually can deceive their investors and bounty participants.
I've been searching for ICO platforms and came across Menlo.one which plans to be a marketplace for ICOs. Unlike ICO listing websites, Menloone allows us to buy and manage our portfolios. What's interesting is that they aim to launch this platform in order to lessen scams with their town hall and guild system. Does anyone know or have any feedback about them? their team? Is this project legit?

No one really knows if it's scam or not. But there are several ways to reduce the risk of choosing bounty. This is a thorough study of the project; look at the attitude of the bounty manager; Or make bounty from the famous manager.

Learn to filter, not to rush thoughtlessly into each project. It's all expected, any work with time grows in complexity. And ICO is no exception.

At times some bounties go completely a scam even though we make strong analysis about the project as well the developer team as well the bounty managers who are in the role of promoting the project. This happens most of the time when the developer as well the founder didn't respond in between the ICO period and without paying to the managers.

most times when ICOs are fake they tend to be discovered on time and then people who discover them usually raise alarm on them as to keep people informed that such projects are scam and should not be patronized

The only thing that you can do is just try to avoid joining them, that is the only way in that you are going to be able to succeed, if you join them, you will work for free after all
