my two cents:

In an industry branch that has just created itself - where the time to market decides (or even, the fact "do i get the device shipped this month or next month?") whether you get your money back or you have to take losses, and there is a corporate that obviously earns a hell of a money by holding back and using those devices...

I cant think of any reasons why the corporate should not get sued by multiple customers - and then smacked down. Or is it MERICA, the country of unlimited opportunitites?

You've seen the email:



"Shipping now".

There was no indication in May 2013 that you would have to wait 5 months for your delivery. This is when the refunds were denied, once you confirmed your order. If they had given accurate or even reasonable delivery time "estimates" then, they would have not had very many confirmations. They were greedy, took more orders than they could deliver in a reasonable timeframe and denied the customer this information. It's called "advertising bait" apparently and is illegal here in the UK.

BFL is using a PR model that's designed to weed out "troublemakers" and preys upon those that do little or no diligence prior to ordering. Simply search Inaba/BFL_Josh's post history and you will note that he's all but stated this directly on numerous occasions.

Several of my friends and I invested in a MiniRig SC (1500Gh version) and some smaller boxes back in Feburary this year. (2013)

Since then, the main investor has found out he has terminal cancer. His blog is here mcrc4.com | Metastatic Colorectal Cancer Stage 4

He's 44 and has 2 kids.

Right now, we're trying to do all we can to get our MiniRig before he passes away and set it up for his kids education fund.

I've emailed Jody three times now, left numerous messages and tried to get a copy of the sales agreement for him to look at.

So far, nothing. With the difficulty going up like it is, it seems our investment will be worthless, if we get it at all.

Could someone PLEASE respond and let us know when we could possibly expect the units and send me a copy of the sales agreement

I was joking, if not obvious. There's a whole thread on the BFL forums where josh goes through each argument that there was never a "September Promise", and (attempts to) refute them.

To be fair we dont know how true this is except BFL themselves. Anyone can claim that poor guy is their friend. BFL would only ship the MR out of order IF and ONLY IF that poor guy is verified and indeed a customer of that order (his name on the invoice).

Sure, but don't really see how it matters. We already know BFL has been jerking their victims around for nearly one full year. MR investors in particular have been thoroughly brutalized. Given the extent of this fraud there are bound to be true stories of people in these situations.
