Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I never believed in public ratings. Any information of this kind can be easily falsified. Therefore, I prefer to make my own rating, based on what I read and heard.
I've seen a lot of projects with good ratings that actually turned out to be a scam. Many "experts" are ready to put maximum estimates to any project for money so we can only hope for our analysis.

No, I do not believe in ICO ratings, and I just rely on skills and experience along with time to check the ICO quality before investing in it. Pages about ICO rankings are similar to coinmarketcap, which is more like a tracker than a quality check. You have to rely on yourself.

The rating of ICO is useful at some time, but it is for your reference only. My suggestion is to do some research on some ICO you are going to invest in.

I think, by looking at the ICO rating it will be a consideration and reason to follow and support the project, because if it has a high rating then usually have a good project and prospects in the future

A few months ago I conducted my research, began to check the projects of many rating agencies. Approximately 70% of the projects have a correct estimate. The remaining projects or contain too little information that is difficult to analyze or fraudulent. Therefore, even reading the most positive news, look for information before investing.

For my own ICO Rating is very influential, because getting a higher rating in my opinion will help attract the project to investors. So if my rating is the first thing I see, after that I will read the project in detail, if rating and project are equally good then I will join.

I see many Websites that provide ratings for ongoing ICOs or for the future. Examples such as the ICObench.com Website, ICOrating.com and others.
Which is my question whether you believe in the rating provided by the website. Seeing many ICO's do not match what they value. Many ICOs are arguably good ratings but when the token sales of the project only reach softcap. And there are projects that I see have a fairly mediocre rating but their token sales reach hardcap. I took the example of Lalaworld on ICObench.com they get Rating 3.7 but their token is sold out.
So let's discuss ICO Rating!

Veracity of ICO projects depends of where from I get information. There are some sites that can be seemed like veracious. I find the best ICO projects all the time and some informational platforms are useful.

When I'm analyzing ICO, first of all I'm checking out the idea of project, what problem it solves, then team members, the product, how much support they got for this ICO and in last only I'm checking ICO rating sites.

It has long been clear to everyone that it is impossible to trust the ratings . In our time, everything is bought and sold - especially the place where it is .

I use the ico ratings as a reference to what to look at. Then when I find something interesting I always do my own research to not get burned. Too many ico get a score above 4.
That's true, but i usually don't look the rating aspect cause most of them are not  true

In my opinion, most of the people are checking ico rating for investment but Some of these ratings is not exactly be done since they are predication too. So you can read whitepaper, web, team, idea, social media site etc.

I think that the situation is more aggravated by the fact that many see in the investment as a deception, and the ratings are considered corrupt. Perhaps some projects do buy themselves statistics, but most of the projects with a positive evaluation and there are good projects.

I usually look at the rating of "icodrops", but before the contribution of course I study the project personally, aspects such as the project team of their roadmap are very important and you can evaluate them yourself.

Personally, I don't even look at the ICO rating. I prefer to look for projects that I personally like. Then I study the road map and the team, if I am satisfied I can invest or take part in the bounty.

I'm watching how the rating changes within a few weeks. I'm pretty sure that ratings are bought. After all, it can not be that the rating of one ico first increased from 3.9 to 4.9, and a week later came back.

I think that some of ICO ratings are fake because it is possible to buy a rating which you need but I do not assert that all ratings are fake and useless. There are objective ratings which are very useful for investors on making decisions. Surely I pay attention on ratings but I do not make decision base only them I usually try to make a complete investigation.
