CRYPTOFLIX can do better. yes but they must cheaper then netflix. I pay  7,99$ at the moment. Hope CRYPTOFLIX can beat this.  Tongue
7,99$ - Is this premium account during 1 month ? If to take this at 3 month or year, it will be possible to save money. I hope cryptoflix can do something similar - 8 dollars it's not expensive for this service.
Admin have already said that subscription fees will not. Will be able to buy every film. At least so it will be at launch of the project.

I think they should try to focus in a different model than Netflix because otherwise they will not be able to make a difference.

Yes. Trying to beat the established player(s) on the same playing field is unwise. Cryptoflix will need to try a new delivery model.
This is why I am suggesting financial model build on watching adds, something like Hulu does

I don't believe pushing adds works super well for a streaming platform. Everyone get's annoyed from all those youtube adds also.

Pushing ads is not a good practice to hook people into the platform. But like Youtube, viewers will stay if the contents are good and if it caters to diverse taste even with the ads. Their can ofcourse be a ad free premium account where people can pay to not watch the ads.

I would also like to know where that country is most of 3rd world country have a very slow internet connection, streaming movies will sometime took longer waiting than streaming.

The biggest problem might be that they don't always have a steady connection, so once it's loaded the connection might be cut for several minutes/hours

Well, the knowledge is so spread that anybody could learn how to without the need of the tutorial, but even though now are new people that won't learn on their own, so yeah, these kind of tutorials are a must if one wants to catch new investors that know nothing yet.

Youtube has done well in this regard while Netflix have not. It has something to do with the compression technology. I guess, in countries like India where data rates are cheap, CRYPTOFLIX can break in easily if they emulate the model of Youtube with regards to differing quality according to the data available.

Yeah, youtube is a good example. They offer low quality to the best one so people can choose which is suitable with their connection.

That's the reason of a demo is needed that way everyone can test how the platform works on its computer.

I am interested in the free content promised by Cryptoflix. What kind of free content can Cryptoflix provide that Youtube or e-learning platforms such as Khan Academy and edX do not?

He is just a professional salesman - all talk. Someone will need to pay for it, and advertisements won’t be the solution.
There are more problems then just internet, there is also hardware and electricity.

That’s why I think it will be better to target a 2nd world country first.

80$ per year would be a good price for family and friends 99$.
Yes, that would be a good price where lots of people will come. Hope there are annual prices lince amazon prime and not only monthly fees.

Where did you get these numbers from?
It of course depends on where you live. And I think you should be able to choose between subscription per month/year and pay per view scheme.

The team told us before that they don't want to go with s subscription model but with a pay per view model like iTunes.

that could also work. if the price is low enough. the subscription model gives you access to more stuff, but also a lot of it you don't want.

So it would be really great if they can tell us the estimated price for each category of the movie (if there will be some categories).

Yeah, I don't think it makes sense yet to speculate about the price. It's still quite some time until the ICO even starts and it will even take longer till the whole platform is working.
