it will be difficult for governments to kill crypto because they operate on different principles, some governments have already legalized BTC while others have banned it. they might declare it illegal which will lead to dip in valuation but that wont be enough to kill BTC

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it". The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks Yes it is possible! But not those who believe in the ability of crypto currency. Government and people who may believe in crypto money can be opposed and can cause a mess between government and people! Many of the Crypto Currency support and many famous people believe in it I'm sure they will not let the government kill the BTC and the CRYPTO CURRENCY! Controversy will occur when killing government crpto should always exist for the people ,as has so many people who write that crypto will never die because it is connected into the circle of a community bond and connected through a network peer to peer

asking if the Government will kill crypto, is like asking if the government can stop the circulation of air in the world which is not possible because cryptocurrencies is powered by the blockchain technology with decentralized servers that can't be tracked and shut down by anyone or the by government, the essence and beauty of the blockchain is freedom. Government have enslaved us by controlling virtually everything we own and now the world is awakening to a new consciousness where the ordinary man on the streets wants to control their own distiny's

Of course it can, but it's not profitable for them. And I think that without world government support in countries, crypto would not be.

The very fact of a decentralized bitcoin device is of great concern to governments, since only a centralized system can be put under full control. An increasing number of companies and organizations are actively involved in the decentralized financial ecosystem. I do not think that the government will be able to kill the crypto currency. Crush - yes.

The technology of blockchain is too revolutionary to be destroyed by a handful of bureaucrats, and bitcoin will always be a unique digital currency for clever enthusiasts who understand how it is arranged and what its potential is.

No because miners have control and theyre spread over 190 countries. All goverment wont pull the plug at the same time "Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it". No government can kill bitcoin, they can only ban bitcoin. bitcoin is a peer-to-peer electronic currency that is decentralized which makes it impossible for any government to kill bitcoin. I think some people are using this kind of FUDs to stop others from buying bitcoins.

it is not possible for ant government to kill the cryptocurrency. due to blockchain technology no government can hold or control it. it is a kind of transparent transactions. governments are able to set the guidelines only.

The crypto world is a classical business gap between government and financial system. Now that gap has been discovered and business gap filled, it is bound to stay.
You can love it, you can hate it but you cant ingore it.

I think that most of Governments just was to regulate the crypto to get taxes from it. Just imagine how many money is flowing through their hands and I assume that this the main motive for them to find the way of regulation.
Yes I agree that for governments cryptocurrencies is a great opportunity to earn money to enlarge the state income. That’s really important. The main question is how to monitor and regulate the cryptocurrency taxation.

Of course we can see now how governments try to ban crypto, but I'm sure that they can't do this, because a technology can't be banned and I believe more and more people will understand that cryptocurrencies are much more honest and usable than fiat.

If bitcoin isn't a decentralized coin then for sure it was already dead a long time ago but its unique feature what it makes alive until nowadays even some governments do make a move on how to get rid of this coin and any other crypto which are really opposing majorly in governments laws specially on taxation. If it do evades then negative impressions and view would come out. They might able to stop but not totally coming to a point that it would be dead.

Nothing can kill Crypto, they can ban, regulate or shit on it all they want, but it will never die, ever. The most major threat to crypto's is quantum computing, and coins have sought to forsee this threat and avoid it with certain algos.
There's a lot of FUD going around since the markets are low, but every investor in crypto's since 2013-2014 understands the situation we are in, and when the new heights are reached 3-4 years from now, many will look back on these times and say the same thing people have been saying for years "I should of invested in X shitcoin"

The reason why the government can kill crypto is the price of electricity power, but it is really interconnected with the countries government. So hardly ever they will use this opportunity.

Theoretically, this is possible, but in fact for such a task, the provincial of all countries will need to block the global Internet, and deanonimize all the transactions that seem at least unreal. In conditions when the capitals move like flocks of birds, it is easier for them to create conditions for ligalization.

Government wont kill crypto, as the government created that technology. Blockchain controled by the goverment. Right now is a short period of time when everything setups and regulation is only in development.
