Of course, maybe I think that they can do harm precisely by laws that will prohibit the use of crypto-currencies, but on the other hand, then the freedom of a person will be greatly infringed, so in this case I think that you can not do this. It is necessary to search for compromises

It is impossible.

Maybe ETH, Stellar and other coin can be kill.
But that is not apply to BTC.

BTC is not controlled of anyone or anything, it is independen ceypto and number one of coin crypro.

So, anyone can kill crypto ?
I thinks is impossible..

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks
In my own honest opinion, the government can only put rules and regulations on cryptocurrency, they can even ban it but they can never kill it because other governments on other countries have seen the good effects of it and are supporting it by now.

I actually don't think they can kill that. First of all some governments desire to wipe out it, a few want to regulate it and several don't genuinely care. Provided that there is no opinion between authorities no one can kill crypto

it can be minimize but it can't be kill as long as there is internet. Well maybe someday they'll develop a quantum computing machine that can bypass the blockchain.

Of course we can see now how governments try to ban crypto, but I'm sure that they can't do this, because a technology can't be banned and I believe more and more people will understand that cryptocurrencies are much more honest and usable than fiat.

Just look at the market cap of all coins combined and then think if the governments are going to kill something with so much money invested in it? The people are going to come on roads if the governments decide to kill the crypto market.

I do not think the government can kill the crypto. The government can control crypto by issuing regulations, even the crypto ban, but it is certain that they can not kill the crypto. Because crypto is a new kind of property that brings us many benefits. In the world there are many crypto users, many of whom invest in crypto, it also solves the problem of unemployment some countries.

I do not know how possible it is for government to kill cryp o, however i think it is a good thing for there to be some regulations around crypto especially with ICOs in order to protect the people participating.

I don't think either any government can shut down the cryptomarket on its own. The best strategy so far is to take advantages of it. For instance in USA cryptocurrencies trading there are regulated as commodities or a security. Therefore it is necessary to pay the tax to not be accused of tax evasion

Yes they can only put rules and regulations and restrict it when it is under their control but since because cryptocurrency is decentralised and government never have any control on it that's why they can't kill crypto or even control it. So my opinion is no, government can do nothing to stop or kill crypto.

Never. Crytpo currency cannot be killed by any governments. This currency is a decentralized currency in which means it cannot be controlled by any governments and that being killed will never happen.

I don't hink it's in governments interest to kill crypto, government only concern is that it can make risks to financial stability, by making bubbles and ect. I myself want the government to regulate as soon as possible, there must be some power and control in cryptomarket area. As soon as they get it sot it out and get it in some control, it will be better for everyone and we will not have such a big volatility, making people bankrupt.

They could work together after many years of watching Bitcoin. Having Bitcoin and knowing what it does would make them want to discuss about Bitcoin too.

Governments cant kill drugs which have physical form for centuries.
So they won't be able to kill cryptos, but they sure can criminalize them. Stupid enough to be implemented by govts.

Very interesting comparing cryptocurrencies and drugs  Grin
I will agree on the point that governments can't kill cryptocurrencies. Most likely, what happens now, is that they are looking for ways to regulate and control it. If any of governments bans crypto, other countries will win by allowing crypto. Have you noticed that big and powerful countries ban crypto while smaller ones allow it?  Wink
