I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?
It could be because coin prices fit exactly what they want, so they automatically sell their coins to make a profit. Everyone has their own benchmark price to determine when the coins will be sold. so you do not have to worry just because you see other people sell their coins directly, you also have to have a price benchmark itself in order to have sales targets for the future.

not forever altcoin will continue to increase the price so reasonable only if it reaches a certain value and already feels getting profit from the increase in value that many are directly seeking to sell their coins because it did not want to Miss a great opportunity from in losses.

It really depends on the person who owns the altcoins as they should be the ones to decide waht to do with it since it is theirs. But I understand that trying hodl it might actually yield to a greater amount.
but it can also yields to losing,so depends on every holders prerogative.i guess what we must consider is to research to movements of your coins,if the projects seems so unresponsive so maybe ibetter to reconsider the holdings coz our funds is precious enough to bet on other coins if the first doesnt seems to profiteering

Yes, I agree with you and even me too against those people's who try to sell their altcoins before it gain its original value and the reason i think people do this is either they do not believe in the power of investing in altcoins or else they might not be having that much kind of professional knowledge and skill by which they could gain big amount of profits. I think people blindly consider that bitcoin is the only coin which can give bigger profits but they do not understand that in this competitive world there are many coins which are having an equal amount of potential similar to the bitcoin and in coming days and months people will soon realize this thing when they personally practise it.

I think many people do not have patience. The crypto market is something of patience business. The more patience you hold the more gain you collect. The increasing trend is investors panic sell their altcoins when the market goes down. But the market does not go the way they want. So the best way out is wait wait wait until a coin price reaches the point where you want.

I agree with you. There is no sense in investing in some ico and selling it cheaply to buy another one and repeat it again

Yes agree with you.. right now I hold my all of altcoin tokens. But sometimes HOLD doesn't work. the same thing happened to UCASH. It was $1.22 per token at the start. some of the holders sell it and collect their profit and some of the others HOLD them for more profit. But now It $0.02 per token. day by day fallen.  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed  So as my knowledge if you going to hold a coin you must have better analyse and better future predict. If you don't have clear future predict selling is better than hold.

Although I have not sold all of my altcoins but I did sell some of my altcoins; a portion of my altcoins. Because I really needed the money and I thought if I'd sell half of it, then maybe the other half would profit on the longer term and can compensate on the amount I took out when I needed the money.

Not everyone is selling Altcoin when they get it from bounty campaigns. They sell all Altcoin because they think that if they own Bitcoin or Ethereum, it will bring more money than holding Altcoin.

You're question is vague. Are you referring to the coins we have earned through bounty rewards? Or are you pertaining to the coins we have acquired by investing in different ICOs? We can't actually judge each coin user's strategy when it comes to growing their portfolio. Keeping coins in your bag is actually risky than trading it the moment it pumps in exchange sites. Unless you have goals, so by all means HODL. But as far as profit is concerned, it would really take years before you earn a decent profit with your coins. Some have patience, some have not.

For some reasons, I keep the half of my portfolio as long term investment and the other half as short-term investments. If one of my short-term coin increases rapidly, I sell it and buy another short-term coin.

For long term coins like VEN, NEO and NEBL, you are right, they will be like the paintings that did not reach the initial value yet.

when bitcoin fell very low, strongly wanted to sell everything and buy it, but I'm not sure that this would be an intelligent deed.

For those individuals are offering there altcoins now. It would be ideal if you stop it. For the individuals who just frenzies please stop it. Try not to freeze its simply the start of the year As I watch for these previous years the greater part of the altcoins increment by the last quarter of the year as bitcoin additionally rises. It's much the same as bitcoin it diminish each first quarter of the year. In the event that bitcoin diminishes esteem so alternate coins diminishes as well. So allows simply pause and watch what will happen to bitcoin. You may lament your choice soon. Also, for the individuals who in require had sone crisis purposes this is possibly avalid reason ehy theh are offering there altcoin.

I personally do not sell my altcoys and always keep them. And some people will get them as soon as they start selling, it's because they are afraid to fail and remain with nothing.

Maybe it was not of afraid only. After all it's certainly based on the purposes of each of us and the targets to be achieved, as well as a various strategies in investing, or trading & anything efforts to be made. Also everything will be adjusted to the existing circumstances, decided to selling.. is certainly based on the causes that's ripe from of us.

I have an altcoin but I was not able to sell it so soon when its market value is still high enough for me to cover my investment, profit, time and effort. All what is left in me right now is my regret that I was not able to sell my altcoins so soon when its market value is still high. I was thinking that it will reach the market value that I really expected that it will reach that would make me an instant millionaire. So it is big lesson for me, a learning experience for me that whenever your altcoins will have enough market value for you to cover all those investment, profit, time and effort then sell it right away even if its market value is still increasing or you will miss the chance of selling it at all.

I once sold altcoin so fast because I needed money and was in debt. I sometimes regret selling my altcoin so fast before the coin starts to rise. So this time when I get paid bounty of altcoin, I will be patient to hold and keep it.

In my view regards with this is i wait for a long time to receive my altcoin as an award or honorarium for doing bounty campaigns. I need to sell my altcoin in order to pay my monthly dues and buy my basic necessities. And when it seems that it will just dump later on why not sell it now. It depends on the needs of the holder.

That's me when I was still a beginner in bounty, I dump it as soon as I got my coins and after a month I saw my coin gets more valuable until I regret all seeing and hoping that I can have more earnings if I didn't sell it immediately. And now I'm holding and planning it to sell next year as I believe the phases of its project is somehow completed. Of course I'll just hold those promising one.

Well said bro,  me why i am selling my altcoin very soon its because i keep waiting and updating self to the markets rates.
At coinmarketcap.com it helps a lot to trace and watch the increasing coins.
And if my coins have a value that can satisfy me then i sell my coins but not all for sure.
