To me, the best thing to do is to check the nature of the project. if it is strong enough, you keep; if it means to dump, I dump with immediate effect. Most times, I love flipping through the whitepaper to fetch out details for myself.
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

This is a nice discussion since I'm relatively new to crypto and bounty as well. I'm thinking maybe sell half of the bounty especially in its first listing and save half for hodl too but if I see the project heading towards doomsday, better unload it soon enough or you will lose it.

You were right, because of their lack of financial, they tend to sell their tokens if its the only way to help them in their financial problems,, just like me I am not rich so I will sell mine if I terribly need money and theres no one to run to,, anyways I am here to earn to support me and my family.

Im selling 50% of received tokens as soon as they get listed on any exchange where I have an account, then Im holding the rest of the coins  till all time high point is reached,it normally happens after 3-6 months.

For me selling your reward immediately when it listed in exchanger is not very profitable. You have joined on the bounty because you believe on the project. You know that it has potential. So I think it is more worth it to hold and sell it once it doubled or tripled its ICO price.

After the ICO, the price always falls by 50%. If only entered the market you need to immediately sell otherwise then the price will fall, and have to keep!  The cold gives then the possibility to x!

I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

Some tokens obtained from bounty after ends of ICO will decrease. Many people rush to sell tokens even if they know the price is down, maybe because they need money at that time or for some reason so they sell it. But if you are not in need of money at that time, I advise you to do an analysis of the token and continue to see its development in the market. If the coin has the potential to increase, it will not be in vain if you hold it for a while.

Since we are talking about crypto now the price is always changing due to market movement. If you hold on to your coin the price might rise and also might fall, i will sell my bounty coins if the price is higher than their ICO price or when i am selling all other coins and i happened to see that coin and the coin value is around ICO price or maybe lesser than the ICO price by a small fraction. Don't be too greedy is the key you might earn from one and lose from one all is opportunity.

I think it all depends on ourselves, if we believe in the project and be patient to wait for the roadmap then we have to hold it but if we have a very urgent need and force us to sell coins then we must do it, there is no other choice I mean

you know, I try to hold them for a while, because if the project is promising and the tokens are released to the exchange, they will increase in price, and you will be able to get a good profit through buying and selling.

Because I still have money to make ends meet. I prefer to hold the coins from the bounty I get. Wait until the price of the coin is high and then I will sell it, get a big profit.

Usually I hold, waiting for the first big pump and when it goes ×10 and more I sell half of my tokens, and another half I leave for a long-term like 6-12 months to see what will happen then.

If the price has reached the ico price I will immediately sell but if the price is still below ico I choose to hold until the price rises. But more often I hold until the price goes up. Because usually when into the market the price is low so you must hold until rise again.

First of all, if you are selling your rewards immediately you dumping coin and doing something bad to this project. So I prefer to hold.

Yes, I agree, any time is to hold the first coin on your wallet, as soon as the project that it becomes known, you can already decide whether you need this coin.

When the market is unstable as of now, it is better to hold the tokens for several months.

I think your mindset will make you rich and it's a good example for all the bounty hunters . personally I do wait for a short term high and sell a significant part from my reward at that point . I'll keep the rest to HODL for a long time .

If the token price you receive when it rises is very high will you still hold a token with no trading activity on tokens you believe will be hold for a very long time?

I think if you think so then it is a very dangerous action because we pass the momentum of price increase from the token we hold, a small example you do bounty from december of course you have token with the highest value at that time if you do not sell it in january 2018 of course You are very much at a loss because I am sure the tokens you hold today are going down very deeply.

so my suggestion to do trading activity on token that you hold there is nothing wrong if we want to sell fast but buyback when token lessen.

Most often it is worth immediately selling coins to make a profit.  Because very often the price immediately falls quickly.
