I think our compensation should be "cloud hash" equal to 100% of our ordered hashpower, to begin when our miners were originally scheduled to ship, and ending when the miners actually ship.

Lots of people who ordered from BA got emails to say batch one isn't shipping until May and they haven't done tapeout yet. Hence a kind of panic.

Hey guys quick update

- I have been on direct contact with Black Arrow in regards to the recent announced delay. They have not disappeared, taken off with the money ETC.
- We will be getting the 25% extra hashrate as promised to all batch one customers (applies only to Batch 1orders)
- I will be working as much as possible with them directly to further resolve this and to hopefully speed up the timeline
- I will be  flying out to the UK next week to meet with them all in person, just waiting on when they can have me arrive (they are finally opening their physical London office) I will to my best to bring pictures news and updates away from this meeting. [Leaving monday night, meeting tuesday/wednesday , return thursday]

I have been up a very long time last night working with this, and probably will be up late the next few days, so please excuse me if I come off as rude, just want to keep you guys as informed as possible.

All I see coming out of your responses and those of the company representatives is PR. Not A single concrete answer for the multitude of questions asked, most very simple. If I ran any of my businesses this way I would not be in business any more, and would be ashamed to admit it. At least BFL is a known quantity.

I do not have the exact details- thats is the point of the trip. I will be hashing (no pun) that out with them directly in person, as well as getting any additional details I can to share back with my customers and the community.

I got a short statement out on the R17 thread, as well as on the company FB page this morning when I first confirmed the news, and have had a busy day fielding customer calls and emails, ongoing training, and now responding to the forums. No excuse for our response time- part of the meetings during the trip is to work on resolving these communications issues better.

Hashing for us with their bitfurys does sound pretty reasonable to me. I doubt they have enough hashing power to cover 1/4th the total ordered hashrate though.

please? Like many others, I think the planned 25% for 4 months is insufficient. I think it would be fair to compensate with the same number of hashes (not hashes/sec, but actual hashes) that are lost. 2 months' delay on a 2 TH/s should be compensated with either 4 months cloud hashing at 1 TH/s or 2 months at 2 TH/s. If you think that's reasonable, please discuss it with Black Arrow when you meet with them in London.

Also, I'm going to be in Shenzhen for most of February. If there's anything I can do to help BA or the community while I'm there, please let me know.

Assuming that there will be TONS of 2 Th/s miners from other cmpanies shipes at April, March, AND may well... If all these ship in time lets say ~30% increase in current the difficulty? And that's still a crappy optimistic prediction.

You are aware that both minersource.net and blackarrow have delivered asics in the past? What makes you think a private company will give you their identities because they have a 2 month delay? You ordered from a company knowing they had not and do not plan on disclosing identities. Besides we all know how little an "identity" does in reality. Take a look at labcoin if you don't believe me.

Wake up guys!

You probably just funded their private Bitfury (and AntMiner?) mining farm with your preorder money.  I have a strong suspicion that they used your money to buy ASICs with ZERO intention of ever producing a working 28nm design of their own.  They'll just keep stalling until they have enough funds to refund everyone and then they'll quietly "disappear".

I hope for every BlackArrow investor's sake that I'm wrong... but I don't think I am.
