Third: Where did you hear that this is the first 20nm tapeout? Intel has had 20nm chips since 2012 and probably prototypes long before then.
because intel are providing bitcoin miner manufacturers with chips, clearly. you just make it all up as you go along.

FTFY as i said, good luck with your pre-order. and yes, that was the first mass tapeout of 20nm chips. the news was released on the 17th january 2014, and the article states there are 10 or so clients already in place.. further fab will not commence until may 2014. so while you are at home chugging away on your anticipation of 20nm chips, i'm busy hashing. don't get me wrong, I DO want you to have your rig, i DO want you to be part of the network and i DO want you to be profitable in everything you do. I'm simply putting some realism into the greed I see afore me. again, all I am saying, stinks of FRAUD - i hope that I am wrong. You stink of FUD

As it seems that he is doing his best to mislead our customers by claiming that we're are not genuine, we have asked Phinnaeus Gage to contact VeriSilicon to confirm if we are doing the Bitcoin mining ASIC with them. He has refused twice. As he has posted more than 170 messages here (all deleted by us) and he is replying every few seconds shows that he has a lot of spare time and writing an email to VeriSilicon would not be a time issue for him. The refusal to check if we are legit leads us to suspect that he might have a hidden agenda. Please find below a snapshot which supports our comments: Re: Rolla, MO is a small town... « Sent to: blackarrow on: Today at 11:12:41 AM » Reply with quoteQuote ReplyReply Remove this messageDelete Quote from: blackarrow on Today at 11:01:27 AM
In order to resume conversation with us, please paste the reply you've got from Verisilicon regarding our chip.
Regards!
Obviously, you have lost your fuckin' mind! I didn't contact Verisilicon because I believe there is no fuckin' way they should be releasing information about Black Arrow due to an NDA. The onus is on you to request of them to post publicly the relationship you two have with one another, along with the status and why the delay of the chip. What I provided you has nothing to do with Verisilicon, and everything to do with who you've vetted as your resellers. You seriously don't have a clue as to how this revelation and your failure to act is going to put Black Arrow in a pickle due to cancellations of orders, do you?

Blackarrow can you post updates instead? For example; someone said tape-out is 20 february, does that mean you are delayed by a few more weeks? When exactly do you expact batch one to start shipping? No lies, tell it as it is.

The X1 & X3 are going to be fantastic. And that's just the beginning.
Which miner would you buy? A) $5/gh delivered next week B) $3/gh delivered in three months Wow, this thread is moving fast (and about 1% of posts are actually relevant) Anyway, Syke, I would love to know where you can buy $5/gh? AntMiners seem to be more like $24/gh which is pure garbage considering I can get $14/gh (@ $600/Bitcoin currently) at cex.io instantly hosted for me... Is there some miner I don't know about or some secret store, or are people just pulling numbers out of their ass (as usual)?

Where on earth are you getting that an Ant is $24 a GH/s? It currently costs 1.45 Btc which at $650 per bitcoin is about $1000, so 1000/180 = $5.55 GH/s
Speaking of off topic and completely FUD posts...
The $24 is for the 1.6gh version of the AntMiner (U1), since the 180gh (S1) version is/has been out of stock everywhere that sells it at 1.45 bitcoins. Again, I would love to know where to get it. And I don't think comparing BA's offering to competitors is off topic. If people claim their products are uncompetitive, I think that is a perfectly acceptable topic for discussion on this thread.

Bobsag, please confirm that the extra 2 months and 10% discount is also available for people who bought from MinerSource, thanks
Yup. I just got up (finally over being sick pretty much) and this will be going out in an email blast. Also if you need help/info for emailing Verisilicon, feel free to drop me a PM, I can get you info you probably need (All I did was send them an email stating who I was, and asking for confirmation of the existence of the contract between VS and BA).

I have a batch 2 order, what is the expected delay on them ?
So the way I understand it is that if I haven't purchased mining power (rent-a-minion) in batch 1, I'll basically get a temporary 0.10 discount and a cold glass of water ? I'm not sure your customers will be lining up for that discount ... or maybe that is what your aim is.
Anybody who has purchased Prospero X-1 in non-indistrual quantities would barely be able to make a return to cover the hardware by the time he gets it. That much is obvious even in the pinkest of predictions.
X-3 would probably be able to pay itself out easily, unless the dif goes totally bananas..
And for those unfortunate souls like me with an X-3 from batch 2, there is no hope ;(
