personally, I have a negative attitude to KYC because your anonymity is lost and I do not agree to transfer my data to third parties.

This is the very bad side of KYC. The personal data we provide may be used for criminal purposes. This is a very big threat to ICO participants. Anyone can use this data to create a false identity as a result of which bear the consequences of the person to whom the data belong.

It looks to me like most easy way to steal me personal info
there is big market for that kind of information

Airdrop offers the smallest allocation of total sales, indirectly this is not a mandatory part of the shareholders who are asked to perform KYC procedures. Many projects misinterpret this and indeed intend to store user data for various reasons that are actually invalid. I personally do not agree with this, there needs to be a strong reprimand to change their behavior because KYC is very sensitive data.

Absolutely if care  is not taken KYC will become part and parcel of the crypto world which is very worrying. Personal information given out is not supervised by anyone and no one knows the hands where these information fell. I think the KYC trend should be looked at and regulated to ensure some form of security.

I can understand to pass the KYC for bounty company, but to give their documents to strangers and in most cases fraudsters, it is very risky and even more so for the sake of 5 dollars...

I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens. 

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

that is queer. why on earth should one disclose his information when joining airdrops? and besides, what further value it can bring to the managers? i have a strong feleing this is something to do with scams

You should gauge the risk involve, most of the airdrop I joined does not require KYC.
Actually, I find it demanding if they will require KYC because I join airdrop to do some little task and receive tokens in return.
My personal information is very valuable, I would not share it with just a small amount of money.

The value received from airdrop is very small, not enough effort for us KYC, so I also think that should be abandoned this requirement in the airdrop campaign. That would be better for us, in my opinion, KYC for the Bounty campaign would be better. Because the number for the Bounty campaign is pretty much.

the Kyc helping to make sure that there is actually real People who Got this tokens.
IF there is More tokens issued then actual People then those tokens Will be worthless.
Remember printing a LOT Fiat currency Will couse inflation it means the Paper what You print out Will be Worth less.
The matter of fact:
IF there is alot More coins or Paper Fiat money then People who actually Will use that then this coin/token or Even Fiat currency Will be valued less!

Why Euro is worthed More then usd?
becouse the euro Bankers Will keep check that the Don't print too much money then there is actual people.

Other example, IF there is More Gold then People then the Gold Will be worthless.

Bitcoin is highly valued with the Same Reason.
Gold and btc are both very rear.. and that Will create the high demand.
to Get Gold You need to mine that, so Same with the btc You need to mine that too.
btc Will become new Gold standard there is no doubt about it.

So what is the conclusion? 
IF Something existing More then the ammount of People who actually Will use that or Not. 
then this Thing value Will be much Lower!

the Only way is Kyc. 

The big Secret is that :
Anything to do with money and IF its Not tied with Person it Will lose value.

So USA Can print a lot usd Paper Fiat becouse USA has large population who Will be as collateral for this Paper money.

there is Only very Limited ammount of money what Can be issued per each Person.
So More People means More cash Flow.

I also don’t understand why we need an KYC for airdrop and bounty. The KYC requirements refer to investors in order to control the origin of their funds invested in the crypto industry. The most funny thing is when a bounty hunter fills in an KYC questionnaire, where he is required to explain the origin of the invested funds!

This is really true, one of the fundamentals of blockchain is it's anonymity but that is slowly fading away because we are now required to do KYC in so many project whether as investors, traders or even bounty hunters, it's relaly bad.

If there is airdrop that requires KYC then I will not do it, because I think KYC is very vulnerable to misuse. this is where the importance of us being careful, and not carelessly giving up our identity, unless it is indeed a clear and trustworthy project.

I agree with your views about KYC. KYC was created for the ICO to know and give an idea and information about there investors. I think that is a good practice only for investors of the coin. Airdrops and bounty participants, on the other hand, are not investors but marketers of the project. The token they received are rewards from tasks they to help market the coin and not investing in it.

dont ever participate on any airdrop even with KYC process if here we talk about stellar airdrop on blockchain just stop it, dont use your id only for 25 $, if the reason is to prevent scammer so dont do the airdrop.

they sell their self-esteem worth $ 5-10
